Works great!
I use these for 4 other calibers and it is a nice system. I have a lathe type trimmer that I leave set up for my highest volume caliber but these are great for calibers you don't load as much of. No adjustments to worry about just run it in the case until it stops cutting. Glad to find it here since they can be hard to find locally due to popularity.

Very accurate. Highly recommend it!
Very accurate item and easy to use. Well made. Does the job intended. If you're processing only a few cases this is perfect. Highly recommend!

Good quality and expensive way to trim your brass.
Great way to inexpensively trim your brass down to Sammi specs. I use this with a corded drill and the cutter head with the wood handle and it works great.

But I recommend if you are doing a high volume of processing ...
This is the simplest cheapest method to trim brass. But I recommend if you are doing a high volume of processing look elsewhere. High volume use is ha d on my old hands, even using a drill. It's the locking and releasing of the brass on the shell holder that is hard on the hands. But it works perfect as designed.

Works
This set up works well for me and is a very inexpensive solution for low volume rifle cartridge trimming. Other parts are needed to make this work but they are inexpensive as well. The depth rod screws into a cutting handle and the base piece attaches to bit that is secured in a drill chuck. It is a tedious process for high volumes of trimming, but it's extremely affordable and consistently accurate. I have one depth gauge/handle base holder/drill bit chuck, set up for each caliber and they fit into the coresponding die case. Cheap, low profile, works.

Utile per rifilare il colletto dei bossoli e riportarli alla misura iniziale

These gauges are a faster method and accurate. They take out any guess work. The time it takes to set up my Lyman case trimmer(sometimes a PITA), I can almost have a box of cases trimmed with the Lee system. Hence, my Lyman trimmer hasn't been used in years. All my die sets each have the gauge and holder in them. The only negative I have about these gauges is they go right to the minimum, at least .010 inch. This can be a problem if you intend to crimp your loads(less bearing surface to work with). Another thing is that with time the cutter will actually gouge into the gauge, shortening the cases even more. But since these gauges are so cheap, I buy new ones every few years.
