This ring is fine for costume or cosplay. It is not sterling silver, and the stone is likely glass. I appreciate honesty from vendors. "925" shows on the band on the advertised picture and in the description, however it is not when you receive the ring. Not good business practice.

States its .925 silver. There is not one place on this ring that is silver. Opened and thought it was a beautiful ring but within 2 hours already had that green/black line appearing on finger from cheap jewelry. Guess you could paint with polish but seller says its .925 and it isn't. Ring is even stamped inside .925. Don't waste your money . But the stainless steel jewelry instead

While it is a inexpensive ring, it is beautiful. The metal is obviously fake, but I love wearing it. I bought it to go with a renaissance costume, but have been wearing it at other occasions as well. It's pretty. Get it for yourself

Like the other reviews said, the stone is a light brighter than the picture and the metal is a more bright silver, I'm using it for a vampire costume and wanted the ring to look a little more aged so I took some brown ink to the metal and wiped it up to give it a more tarnished vintage feel and also added some ink to the underside of the gem to make it darker! But over all i'm pretty happy with this ring, it's a good imposing size!
