I have this book with me in Nepal now as we start three years of living here. It is an incredible resource and well researched. So much information to make my life in Nepal enjoyable and an adventure! Thank you for so carefully writing this book.

Bought this book to follow my son's trek through Nepal. Was able to follow his journey with the maps and day-by-day treks. Highly recommend!

This book has been very helpful for planning my trip! I especially like the tips on etiquette. I always like seeing how other people rate their favorite places along with an explanation so I can decide if those are things that interest me. The descriptions are very detailed and offer lots of good information. The organization of the book throws me off a little, I feel like it jumps around quite a bit in the beginning before it gets to the chapters on each area, but overall it has been an excellent resource. I appreciate the information on the 2015 earthquake damage. Even though the reconstruction is an ongoing process and hard to describe accurately in print, the suggestions that we check the status of certain places before we plan a trip there are very helpful.

Daughter needed for Nepal trip

Used this for a recent trip, however I used a neighbors copy because this one came too late. It's a great book, alot of detail and really helps you find and understand the country.
