Works great for hunting. Worth getting!
I’ve had tinnitus for a long time, but I didn’t realize how bad it was until I had children when I couldn’t hear them crying in the other room. It made me want to protect my hearing even while I was hunting. I bought these with the hopes that they would work for hunting and boy do they! I’ve worn them in a pouring rain and it sounds like I’m standing with no earplugs but then when I take a shot, there’s no ears ringing. I’ve worn them at several outdoor shooting ranges and it’s so nice to be able to hear what people are saying but not the crack of the guns going off. It is a strange sensation wearing them because you still hear the sound of the firearm but no crack of the sound barrier. You can also listen to music on them because they are Bluetooth to your phone and I’ve mowed the lawn with them, but I found I prefer earmuffs for doing that, but using these it was still pleasant enough. It’s just not what I prefer and they have a speaker which allows you to hear the ambient noise around you which means you can take a phone call with them. I can’t say that I recommend it, but it is doable, and it’s nice to not have to dig through all the layers of hunting gear to answer your phone because you can do it on the earpiece. I don’t know why you would but you could turn them off and just use them as regular earplugs. They do have the same rating as the foam ones so there is that if the battery were to die not that I’ve had that happen. I’ve hunted for well over eight hours in one day and not had them run out of batteries and it’s often cold were I hunt which can be a problem for battery powered devices but it hasn’t been for these. I’d recommend these to anyone, and have done so. I will definitely buy another pair if and when these finally go.

Never worked
Never worked out of the box. Complete garbage. Left earbud would not take a charge. I have now received a second return and the items still will not work. If you value your hearing at all, you will avoid this product like the plague. I have never been more disappointed in a purchase. That is what you get for going cheap. You get CHEAP!

Love them and look forward to using them often
This is a good quality product for the cost. What I was really hoping for was retaining my ability to hear while at the same time protecting my hearing from rifle shots. I was impressed with the quality of ambient sound these gave me so I could just put them in and move out. As a hunter, I know that it is obviously too late to be putting your ear pro in when you should be starting down the front sight. One thing I do wish they had is the ability to raise the Bluetooth sound when the ambient option is turned on. I realize the counterintuitive desire to want ambient noise on while “blaring” my music, but It is just a little too soft to be useful.

Don't fit, don't charge, constant disconnects, bad noise reduction
I tried every foam tip, none of them snugly fit my ears. If no tips fit you, you'll be sending these back too because that's in instant deal-breaker. I tried charging multiple times, one of them just would not charge, I believe it was the left side that never made it past 30% charged (could see on my phone the charge levels) and I made 1000% sure it was seated in the box correctly. For the two minutes I had them in to "try", my neighbor was mowing the lawn so I walked up with noise reduction active, and could still hear his lawnmower which is very loud. I would never trust these to protect my eardrums from 12g or .556 in inside or outside ranges. I wouldn't trust these to mow my lawn either apparently. And one was always constantly disconnecting so I could only hear music out of one ear for the full two minutes I had them on. Dysfunctional fresh out of the box. Returning, lesson learned; spend the money on good expensive proven brands, don't take chances on something that could cause permanent injury. Music sounded okay though, and easy to connect to Bluetooth on my phone! Hah.

Really good for the price, good sound suppression.
BLUF, for the price they are excellent. Ignoring price, they're a decent set of BT ear buds with pass through and amplification. They are decent active hearing protection against gunshots outdoors. I only tested them with pistols, but the level of sound felt exactly the same as with my Howard Leight Bolts with gel earcups. I switched back and forth and felt equally comfortable from a sound suppression side either way. I would say that a pistol line or even outdoor rifles in non magnum calibers would be fine. I would not choose these for indoors. I always double up indoors. The amplification is good, better than regular hearing but doesn't get anywhere near as high as Howard Leights. I'd guess you get about 1.25-1.5x normal hearing vs 2-3x with something like the HL's. You can dial the level of amplification up and down as well as just turning it off entirely. As ear buds, they're decent. If you're an audiophile you'll be disappointed. If you just want to listen to a podcast, take a phone call, or some music to keep you distracted they are fine. For serious listening get something else. Controls are easy. You can control both ear pieces with either. There are no physical buttons, everything is through capacitive touch. Touch, tap, hold, or slide to engage various features. It's easy and you won't do it accidentally except when putting them in. Phone pairing was simple. Call volume was fine. The party on the other end heard me fine. It's on par with similar ear buds. One thing about audio playback, if you use the ambient sound feature playback volume drops tremendously. You can turn it back up but not too the same level as before. They suffered a bit of pop and hiss in heavy wind but it was tolerable (I stuck my head out the window at 15mph). Turning ambient off eliminated this of course. I've yet to fully test battery life, but if you are using ambient (amplification) you won't last a whole range day. Maybe a half day. You'll be good for most matches probably. Fortunately you can charge them in the case 4-5 times on the case battery. The case charges from a micro USB. I'm not sure what charge time from flat is, but it's somewhat less than two hours. (That's how long I charged them from dead to full. Not sure when they finished). I think with careful use of ambient and a lunch charge you can get a whole day. The case is ok, but a little flimsy. It comes with another case to put it in though so maybe that doesn't matter. The big case can carry your charging cable and spare eartips. The buds hold in place in their case with magnetic charging, and are further held in place with the lid closed. You shouldn't have to worry about them bumping loose in your range bag and not getting a charge. It comes with an assortment of foam tips and silicone flanges. I have different size ear canals so small on the right/med on the left side made me right. I think you should be able to get the full range of after market ear tips without problem. I think if you want something small, convenient, with active suppression for matches and range sessions these are fine. If you want standard ear buds for music and podcasts, but maybe a little extra hearing boost and protection from occasional loud noises these are fine. If you're going to be spending full days on the range often these might not be quite there yet. I do think for the $75 I paid they are a hell of a bargain, and I'd recommend these to casual shooters before a set of electronic muffs in the same price range.
