Spicy and salty!
It's hard to find this stuff in New England, even at my local Asian grocers (unless you are in a big city). I discovered green chili sauce in a local "generic Asian" restaurant and loved it so much that I decided that I had to have it at home. Let's compare it to sriracha sauce, since most people know what that tastes like. This is less sweet, more salty, more spicy, and I would argue it also has more of a citrus flavor.
