4" Round Gel Printing Plate

Exactly as advertised. For making small circular prints, it’s great. Do wish I’d paid a bit closer attention to the directions sheet that came with, however. It notes that some inks will stain the plate. Yes — alcohol inks will indeed stain the plate, which makes it very difficult to accurately evaluate future color combos you put on it. Otherwise, works great, and is a wonderful size for card-making.

I am just getting into Gel printing but it's fun. This pad is great. I'd keep the package it comes in to store the gel pad when you are not using it. Keep the fur-babies hair off it cause man does it stick to the pad good....lol I bought these gel pads in many sizes, durable product.

I use Gelli plates to create my own printed fabrics for use in my mixed media fiber art. I love having a round shape so I can create interesting circular designs. I have another Gelli Art plate and this round one is just as great as my original rectangular. Definitely a quality product.

We've done a number of workshops on Gelli printing and I have a variety of printing plates that I bring along with me. It's always this 4-inch round that everyone fights over. There's just something about printing round! It's manageable in size, cool in shape, and it sparks creativity. I've tried making my own gelli plates and while it's certainly possible, they never last as long as these prebuilt ones do. So I'd much rather pay for the premade one I know will last and last, vs making my own and watching it fall apart after a few uses. Well recommended!

I bought the tiny one to test it out before buying a big one. I chose colors randomly with no ideas in mind, whatsoever, so imagine my delight when my very first print looked exactly like I was trying to create an image of earth!! 😂😂 I didn’t apply any more paint, just rolled it out (with my mod podge brayer) then used a stamp (also pictured) & created a lighter image of warmth with a perfect impression of a flower. Then I used to top of the paint bottle to create circles, still has paint left for more prints. Needless to say, I’ll be buying the larger size & if I ever need to create an image of earth, I now have a tool to do exactly that lol

It's really hard to find one even in its website. Luckily me to get from Amazon which was also the last piece. It was 10 days earlier than the committed date. Wow! This large gelli plate will be worked for my fabric project and sometimes on larger canvas. Now I have to think about the keeping well.
