The shaver is excellent. Very comfortable. But, the Braun user leaflets are totally insufficient. There are instructions in all languages in the world. For each language there are a lot of pages about safety. Information how to setup and use the shaver and the cleaning station are awfully short and only pictures are shown. It is necessary to go on Internet and to find some YouTube videos to see what is going on. The Braun web site has the same leaflets.

After 15 months the battery life was 50% of the initial charge (28 mins v 55 mins) and I was only getting 5 shaves out of a full charge. Battery indicator dropped down to 2 lights after one shave and the red light after three shaves. Fortunately, there's a 2 year guarantee so I sent it back for repair. Shaver was returned very quickly. I assume the battery was replaced, but not sure as there was no note of what was repaired enclosed in the return package. Fingers crossed it will now last more than another 15 months. PS The shave is good and the cleaning system makes it smell nice, but not I am convinced that it adds anything more to the shaving experience than a rinse under a running water tap does.

I am very pleased with this shaver. After weeks of research and procrastinating I took the plunge and bought it. My previous shaver was a Braun 3 series which was over 8 yrs old. This thing annilihates it in every way. It performs very well and glides over your face with no skin irritation so far. It feels good in your hand and the black and blue colour scheme looks quality. It is supplied with a cleaning station, various size trimmers and a cracking travel case where it fits nice and snug and offers so much more protection than the plastic head case you get with the series 3. I got this for £100 which is brilliant value! If you are like me and want value for money, you will not be disappointed.

What a waste of time, you would get a closer shave from a four month old disposable razor. Most of the time it feels like it is pulling the hair from my face. I have used it five times thinking I would get a different result but no , the most unsatisfying shave I have ever had. Gone back to using my 10 year old battery shaver as it gives a closer shave.

Bought for me as a Xmas present so tried it to make sure it was what I was looking for. The shave was first class but I will not know about all the attachments , until I start using it on a daily basis after Xmas. Price was great value for money.

£75 shaver so you would expect a decent shave, unfortunately its not so. Back to my £20-25 shaver and it does a better job.

I was taught to shave in the Grenadier Guards 65years ago and I can promise you that know what a good shave is. I have had this razor for 3 weeks and it is easily possible to get a Guards quality shave from it by soaping my face with ordinary soap and shaving before rinsing it off. Absolutely painless, smooth as silk and as quick as you like. It took me a few days to work it out but I got there. I have no hesitation in saying this is as good as any shave I have ever had. I am really pleased to have chosen it

Compré la Braun Series 6 con la estación SmartCare después de dar muchas vueltas entre varios modelos, y la verdad es que estoy bastante contento con la compra. Lo primero que me llamó la atención es lo cómoda que es de usar: el cabezal se adapta bien a la forma de la cara y no me ha dado tirones ni irritación, especialmente en el cuello, que es donde casi todas las máquinas me dan problemas. También me ha gustado que se pueda usar tanto en seco como en mojado; algunos días me afeito rápido sin espuma y otros directamente bajo la ducha con gel, y en ambos casos el resultado es suave y sin molestias. La batería me dura más de lo que esperaba: me afeito cada dos días y la cargo muy de vez en cuando, así que para uso normal va sobrada. La estación SmartCare ha sido una sorpresa positiva porque te olvidas completamente de la limpieza: metes la máquina, pulsa el botón y te la deja limpia, lubricada y lista para la siguiente vez. Para alguien como yo que no quiere estar desmontando cuchillas, es un plus enorme. Ahora, también tiene sus cosas. Si te dejas la barba crecer demasiado o la tienes muy densa, no apura del todo a la primera: tienes que insistir un poco en algunas zonas y aun así no llega al apurado tipo cuchilla clásica. Para el día a día es perfecta, pero si buscas el afeitado más al ras posible puede que se te quede un poco corta. Otra cosa a tener en cuenta es que cambiar entre el cabezal principal y el accesorio recortador es cómodo pero no tan rápido como esperaba; sirve, pero no es algo que usaría todos los días. En general, estoy muy satisfecho: es una máquina cómoda, suave con la piel, con buena batería y la estación SmartCare te facilita muchísimo el mantenimiento. Para alguien que quiere afeitarse rápido, sin irritaciones y sin complicarse, la recomiendo sin duda. Si tienes barba muy espesa o quieres un apurado perfecto tipo cuchilla, quizá necesitas un modelo de gama más alta, pero para un uso normal va genial.

Nach jahrelanger Nassrasur mit einem Handrasierer waren wir total gespannt auf die Neuerscheinung des Braun Series 6. Nach einer Testphase von nun fast 3 Wochen können wir sagen, dass wir sehr begeistert sind. Geliefert wird der Rasierer mit einem Reiseetui, einer Ladestation, die gleichzeitig als Reinigungsstation dient, Reinigungsmittel und mehreren verschiedenen Aufsätzen zum Rasieren und Trimmen (auch für andere Bereiche wie zum Beispiel Bauch oder Intimbereich geeignet). Vollständig geladen kann es auch direkt losgehen. Mit einer Akkuladung von 60 Minuten und einer Schnellladefunktion von 5 Minuten ist er ‚jederzeit bereit‘. Der Rasierer leistet wirklich saubere, präzise Arbeit, ohne Hautreizungen. Durch den beweglichen Kopf passt er sich perfekt an die verschiedenen Konturen an. Die unterschiedlichen Aufsätze sind sehr praktisch; er ist dadurch sehr vielseitig und variabel nutzbar. Zusätzlich überzeugt das Modell mit der Reinigungsstation. Hierfür wird das Gerät in die mitgelieferte Station gesteckt und automatisch gereinigt. Es ist nicht nötig, den Rasierkopf auseinander zubauen, wie es noch bei vielen Vorgängern der Fall war.

Der Braun Rasierer wird in einer ordentlichen Verpackung geliefert. Die Verarbeitung und Haptik des Rasierers ist sehr gut, wie man es von Braun auch erwartet. Ich habe den Braun Series 6 Rasierer nun 2 Wochen getestet und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Der Rasierer liegt dank seines ergonomischen Griffs hervorragend in der Hand, der bewegliche Scherkopf gleitet über die Haut ohne zu rupfen. Die Rasur ist gründlich und schnell. Da das Trockenrasieren bei mir Hautirritationen hervorruft verwende ich ihn als Nassrasierer mit Rasierschaum, häufiger auch unter der Dusche. Er ist Wasserdicht. Wenn die Barthaare nur 1 Tag alt sind kommt das Ergebnis fast an das Ergebnis eines gewöhnlichen Markenklingenrasierers heran. Sind sie länger, 2 Tage Bart, dauert es erheblich länger. Der Wechsel zwischen den Modi „Turbo“ und „Sanft“ funktioniert unkompliziert und bringt schon was. Praktisch ist dass der Rasierer auch als Langhaarschneider verwendet werden kann. Mit den entsprechenden Aufsätzen gelingt die Konturpflege mühelos, ohne dass man das Gerät wechseln muss. Die 4in1 SmartCare Reinigungsstation ist äußerst praktisch: Sie reinigt, lädt und pflegt den Rasierer automatisch. Dabei sollte man jedoch beachten, dass die Reinigungsflüssigkeit regelmäßig gewechselt werden muss, was nicht unerhebliche zusätzliche Kosten verursacht. Alternativ kann man den Rasierer auch mit Wasser reinigen. Zum Lieferumfang gehören neben dem Rasierer selbst die Reinigungsstation, zwei Aufsätze, mehrere Längenadapter, ein Ladekabel, ein Netzteil sowie eine kleine Transporttasche, ideal für Reisen. Kritikpunkte: Die Bedienungsanleitung ist rein bebildert und teilweise schwer verständlich. Viele Funktionen muss man sich selbst erarbeiten. Der Scherkopf lässt sich nur durch Ziehen abnehmen, eine Entriegelungstaste fehlt. Die mitgelieferte Tasche könnte größer sein, um alle Aufsätze und das Netzteil bequem zu verstauen. Der UVP Preis ist mit 299 € ziemlich hoch gegriffen, was mich vom Kauf abhalten würde. Jedoch ist er inzwischen am Amazon Marketplace für viel weniger erhältlich. Bei einem Anschaffungspreis von 200 € plus langfristige Kosten für Reinigungskartuschen ca. 100€ und Scherkopftausch auf 3 Jahre ca. 60 € entstehen insgesamt realistische 360 € Kosten. Nach 3 Jahren wird der Akku, insofern er hochwertig ist, erschöpft sein. Der Aufwand der Rasur ist im Faktor Zeit und Geld hoch, es ist also ein Luxus den man sich leisten möchte. Im Vergleich: Für Markenklingen im Groß Pack benötige ich maximal 40 Stück in 3 Jahren zu Insgesamt 80 € + 2 Rasierer. Also ca. 100 €. Fazit: Der Braun Series 6 überzeugt durch hochwertige Verarbeitung, gründliche und sanfte Rasur, vielseitige Einsatzmöglichkeiten und eine praktische Reinigungsstation. Wer Wert auf Komfort, Hautschonung und Zubehör legt, erhält ein ausgezeichnetes Gerät. Die Bedienung erfordert jedoch etwas Eingewöhnung, und die Folgekosten sollte man einkalkulieren. Insgesamt eine klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, die einen langlebigen und hochwertigen Elektrorasierer suchen und Wert auf Luxus legen. Auf Bilder verzichte ich, es gibt schon genug davon. 5. Sterne gebe ich nur wenn ein Produkt 1. der Beschreibung entspricht, 2. nicht mehr verbesserungsfähig ist und 3. das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis auch passt. Bezahlt oder kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt spielt dabei keine Rolle.

Es una pasada de afeitadora, pero no para mí. Tengo una piel delicada, en condiciones normales me puedo afeitar una vez a la semana o así, pero si lo hago más a menudo al día siguiente amanezco con la cara llena de granitos con pus. Hace unos años probé una afeitadora premium de láminas de otro fabricante muy conocido y el resultado fue calamitoso, con heridas, sangrado y una irritación enorme. Seguidamente, compré una afeitadora rotativa y nada que ver, desconozco la diferencia entre ambos sistemas, pero con el sistema rotativo el afeitado, si bien no tan natural por su mecanismo y apurado, era mucho más suave y cuidadoso con mi piel. Ahora, unos años más tarde, gracias al programa Vine de Amazon he tenido la oportunidad de probar una nueva afeitadora de láminas de la mano de una marca líder y de absoluta fiabilidad como Braun y, concretamente, con una máquina de gama media/alta. Sólo la he podido probar dos veces y el resultado no ha sido el esperado, el afeitado es apurado, pero demasiado agresivo con mi piel incluso en modo suave, tanto en húmedo como en seco, exfoliando la piel previamente, cerrando los poros a continuación, aplicación de after-shave, etc. Es frustrante para mí tener que escribir esta opinión porque estoy convencido de que el producto cumplirá e incluso superará las expectativas de casi cualquier comprador, sin embargo mi experiencia con las afeitadoras de láminas es especial y desgraciadamente eso no lo puedo cambiar. Al no haberle dado un uso continuo estas semanas me cuesta dar una opinión acerca de sus otros accesorios para los que no estoy interesado (recortadora de barba y depilación corporal), autonomía (60 minutos estaría en la media), carga rápida de la batería (el fabricante promete 5 minutos, me parece sensacional para esos momentos en los que olvidaste cargarla y precisas de un afeitado rápido y urgente) o estación de limpieza, que lubrica bien la cuchilla y promete alargar su vida útil a la vez que facilita el afeitado. Una pena, en condiciones normales le daría 5 estrellas porque me encanta la marca, la apariencia premium y elegante de la máquina y la naturalidad de un afeitado a láminas similar al de una cuchilla, sin embargo como ya empecé esta review, no es para mí.
