They look and sound great - Looks like a professional install. A++++++
These 8" Pyle speakers look great and sound wonderful. First the speakers arrived very quickly and with no damage whatsoever. We will be ordering more to complete our whole house project. What's in the box: In each box you will find two speakers with grills Instructions / installation booklet Adhesive pads if needed to re-attach the grill **Installation Tip** I had a hard time figuring how to remove the grill without bending it all to pieces. Simply flip the speaker over on your lap (you will be looking at the magnet side of the speaker). Flip out all of the plastic clips that holds it to the ceiling. Once you flip them out press down on them one at a time while holding the speaker up and the screws will drop down and push the grill out. We started with our surround sound in the living room. We installed the front surround speakers in the ceiling and with the adjustable tweeter it worked well for us. We also used these for the back speakers behind our seating area. For the installation of each, I knew approximately where I wanted the speakers so I used the old "knock and listen" technique to locate a joist. I found where I thought was the center and I drove a small nail into the ceiling (in case I was wrong I wouldn't have a large screw or nail hole in my ceiling). I then pushed a thin piece of wire through the hole and then went into the attic to check my spacing between the joists. Once I located the center between the joists I measured from each wall to my small hole to make sure my other speaker lined up perfectly with this one. I took the piece of wire out of the ceiling and pushed it through the center of my template and then place the wire back through the hole on the ceiling. I marked around the template with a pencil and then cut out my circle. The speakers all slipped right into place, I tightened the screws, replaced the grill, ran my wires and hooked them all up and we now have surround sound in our ceiling. **Installation Tip 2** The first hole I cut on the inside of the line just in case the template was too large but for the other three I cut right on the line with a manual drywall saw and they fit perfectly. Just take your time and don't rush the job and you will have outstanding results. We're very pleased with the look. I've seen where some people painted theirs in order to have them blend into the ceiling but you really don't notice ours and even if someone does, they look nice and look professionally installed. Like I said before we will be buying more to complete our whole house speaker system including a set of outdoor speakers on the front and back of the house and I will definitely use Pyle, you can't beat the price.

Sound quality is awesome—clear audio with great bass, and the setup was super easy. The battery lasts a long time, and I love that it’s waterproof for outdoor use. A great speaker for the price!

Good price and quality
I bought these to use a remote room speakers. If you're looking for lots of bass, these are not what you want. They are advertised as "midbass", meaning they are mid range speakers. The sound quality is great, and can be improved by running the source signal through a graphic equalizer to even them out a bit. A little advice: always run these speakers through an impedance matching volume control in each room. This will keep the proper load on your amp, and allow the speakers to work much better. Sounds too good to be true (literally)
I wanted to install speakers in the waiting room of my office but I knew my employer was not going to reimburse me for my expenses. That made price my main selection criteria. We had been using a small portable radio and I got tired of the customers changing the channel so I installed these speakers in the ceiling and put the receiver in an employee-only area. For my needs, these were perfect. I am a fairly handy DIYer but the installation was so simple with the included template that I believe anyone brave enough to cut into a ceiling tile with a utility knife would be able to handle it. Fishing the speaker wire through a wall into another room took the most time but, in total, I had these up in less than an hour including cleaning up my mess. The sound is fantastic. This probably does not perform like Bose but I didn't pay a Bose price for them. For less than $50, I'd buy these again every year if that's how long they last. They've been in for about 3 months now and our experience has been nothing but positive so far. And even though I did not get reimbursed, it's worth it to me to have a high quality sound for the waiting room that can still be heard throughout the building. I'm completely satisfied with the purchase and I highly recommend them.

Great for the money
I bought 2 sets of these (4 total speakers) two years ago to use as surround sound in my home. Sure it doesn't have the power of a nice set of box speakers, but that wasn't what I was wanting. I needed a nice set of in-wall speakers that would fade nicely into the background when not in use, but put out enough sound to fill the room when necessary. I've got a subwoofer for the bass, so no worries about the lows, and the highs work wonderfully. The wires attach with clips, so installation was a snap once I got my holes drilled. If I ever wire up sound for another room, these are the speakers I'm getting.

Can't possibly have any complaints for $20 a speaker
I am moving house and wanted to take my Paradigm SA-15's with me. These were $400 plus ceiling speakers and I had then set up for surround at front / back and left / right. Also had three in the kitchen. First impressing opening the box were not great but then unfair to compare to the Paradigm's. Definitely a cheaper quality but not at all bad and pretty good for 20 bucks. Easy to install in my existing holes as same size. I was very surprised by the sound quality - a little tinnier sounding than the Paradigm's but overall very good for surround and music. When I put my Paradigm speakers in I built in ceiling speaker boxes for them out of marine ply and filled with a baffle material. Perhaps this helped a lot with the sound but these Pyle speaker are fantastic value.

Absolutely superb speakers and a great addition to my surround sound system. The immersive feel is great and adds that extra level to films.

I am fussy about audio. These are not hifi speakers, they do sound ok for what little money they cost. They will not handle the rated power. They are fine with 50w rms. I use these in outdoors in the BBQ area and expect they will suffer eventually from the weather but I will simply order another set. Stick with the 8” as they have lots more bass over smaller speakers

Very good product.. Highly recommend

Easy to install, really good sound quality, works well in mid to upper ranges. The grills are a bit of a challenge to get off, the remover tool in the kit works OK.
