The additional free set of liners makes this a great buy
We use this bin for adult nappies and disposable incontinence pads. It feels very flimsy and I was sceptical at first, but it is a godsend. The smell of stale urine is pervasive and unpleasant. This unit firmly locks the smell away which is why this is so worth buying. Normal bins just cannot do that as effectively. I have seen that some reviewers have had smell problems and there will be a fault with either the bin or its use as used properly it does not release smells. There are a few reasons for that. The liners are used in a different way to bin bags. There is a reel of them inside the unit. You pull the bag out of the bottom, not the top, use the cutter in the exit door to separate it and then pull it out and knot it closed. This is so much easier than pulling a bin liner out of a bin. The liners never leak (we have had our original for two years now, this is the second one). You just pull it down off the reel, knot, and off you go again filling it up. We have not needed to clean the inside (yes seriously) and the outside is a quick wipe and it is pristine again. The plastic does not hold the smell. Normal plastic bins hold onto it stubbornly until you use bleach. You can use the foot pedal and the unit hatch at the top (and would for baby nappies), but as we are disposing of bigger things we just leave the front unclipped and lift it up. We bought our original from an incontinence supplier and it came with one set of liners as standard (it is set up for you) but this one has a full extra set of 3 liners which we currently buy at £25 from our incontinence supplier. This is why this bundle is such a genuine good buy and I wanted to leave a review saying so. We have purchased a second one so we can have one in two places. Our first one is still going strong.

I bought this for my husband’s soiled inco pads
A brilliant concept which does mask odours, but each ‘refill’ - where you cut off the used portion and prepare a new receptacle - only lasts a day or so because of my husband’s double incontinence. I am sure it is ideal for hygienically disposing of a baby’s soiled nappies. In any event, it is definitely preferable to the usual ‘nappy sacks’ from sellers of inco products - and it looks so much better.

Early days at moment but bin seems to be OK.
I can only give first impression as I have only just started using this item and whilst I am liking this product I am yet to be convince this is value for money after all they are asking £25 for refills! that's allot of money to literally bin! no pun intended. I did a search and bought my bin for £40 with 3 packs of liners that is worth the cost however buying the bin at full price £65 every one esle is asking for is a bit much hence why I searched. Amazon are currently selling it at £35 but as usaly when needed they are out of stock I would have thought twice at buying this product at the full price because of cost of refills lowest is £25 which seems a bit excessive if you ask me but you will find greedy products like this when ever purchasing a niche product they think there products are worth millions!!!!. my best advise is to shop around for lowest price before committing to buy bin then think hard about the refills as that is where you usually get stung. I will try to remember to update this review and its rating to let you know if it is indeed real value they claim on refills I.e. " value pack" or if we are just getting ripped off hence the mid rating early days!. but for now I am happy with bin that was value for money at the price I paid anyway and if you can wait and get it from sold by Amazon at £35 even better as for refills only time will tell if this product is worth the refills!

Why didn’t I look into this with my first child?!
The best nappy disposal system I’ve come across! So easy to use, the way you “change the bag” is amazing because you cut the bag where you want to tie it which means you’re not eating the smell of poo (if anyone understands what I mean ahahah) since it’s gathered and you can tie it quickly. The room is not free of nappy odours, an absolute saviour!

Avoid, very bad smell and unhealthy
Bought this as it looked quite good but unfortunately here is where it ends, it’s design has a flaw then it doesn’t keep the smell locked inside so they whole room stinks after a a few nappies which is very unhealthy for the baby and I wouldn’t leave it there with any child around for thier saftey. I have also contacted the manufacturer but unfortunately their was no solution offered didn’t seem like they care.

Waste of money
I was so excited to order the bin after reading the description about how it will keep the place smell fresh, unfortunately that is a BIG LIES. This bin cost almost £60 and am very disappointed that after dropping 1 to 6 nappies in the bin, the place started to smell horrible. I couldn’t stand the smell. I had to take the bin out immediately and give the bin itself a wash. I should’ve listen to other buyers review. Tomme Tippe sangenic is far far better than this brand.
