I looked at dozens of sinks and deliberated for a couple months and finally decided on this one. It is perfect. It looks so sleek and modern if you want it to, but also goes well in my older kitchen. It has a sturdy 5/8" lip overhang if you want to leave it outside, or it can be as easily made into an undermount sink. I thought I needed 16 gauge but this 18 gauge is VERY STRONG. It isn't flimsy or tinny AT ALL. There are sound pads all around and additionally has a spray on, rubberized insulation. I also got the Evolution Compact Insinkerator Garbage Disposal and between the two insulated items the disposal is very quiet. You can hear it when it's grinding something, but when it's empty you almost can't hear it. The sink has a good bushed stainless finish and slight indentations in the base to help the water flow better from the square corners. I love the single basin. It is huge and very deep as well. I love the rack that comes with it! I fits perfect and allows water to flow under whatever you are working with. The rubber tips keep it from scratching the basin. Someone said theirs rusted easily. I have not found any rusting and I've had it about 6 months. It is easy to clean but it does tend to show water spots (we have hard water). I keep a spray bottle with vinegar under the sink and spray in on once in a while and the water spots disappear. I think it would be easy to install yourself, including the disposal. I had a plumber because I had several things that needed to be upgraded, but there were clear instructions, all the parts needed and the disposal was totally assembled. This is a great sink!!!

I was absolutely shocked at the quality for the price I paid. It's made from thick stainless and manufactured cleanly. I can't tell if was pressed from one piece of steel or welded. There are no seams that I can find. The wire rack for the bottom is a nice addition and should help keep the sink in good shape for a long time. I appreciated that it came with an extra bag of rubber feet for the rack in case they go missing. The expandable rack that suits on top of the sink is nice and seems sturdy, though it could be a little longer to for from edge to edge. So far it hasn't fallen through despite my cat sleeping in it overnight. The drain kit that came with it is just plastic and not PVC, but connected easily and seems secure. The only thing I would have liked would have been a cutting template for the countertop. But really just a minor complaint. It is a straight sided rectangle, so not that hard to figure out. Overall it is a steal of a deal. You won't find a better sink for three times the price.

Upon opening the box you can see the quality of this sink. It is also heavy due to the thick construction which makes it even quieter and less likely to dent. Installation went well and it looks great. My wife likes the fact that the extra depth will keep water from splashing out, since the crummy sink I replaced was only 6" deep and this sink is close to 9". The accessories included add to the extra value. At this price it is highly recommended. Less expensive than all similar sinks. The only problem I had was connecting the down pipe to the supplied strainer basket. Neither Home Depot or Lowes had the correct diameter pieces. Went to a private plumbing supply store and they were able to fix me up. This does NOT affect my opinion in a negative way, problem was fixed easily. Really adds to the kitchen's appearance. Not a cheap stamping, this had to originally be of welded construction due to the thickness of the metal. The heaviest construction I've seen.

This sink is a fantastic value, but has one flaw that keeps it from being a super star. The bottom of the sink is truly flat, the channels (seen at diagonals) are going to retain water. In my case, it retains water for days. I'm concerned about mineral build-up, but the sink is already secured with silicone so it's not coming out! We have a larger stainless "farmhouse" sink in the kitchen that does not have this issue, despite the "flat" bottom, it all angles down to the drain. I did check if my install was level, and yes, it's perfectly level, so this is a design decision (error?) from the manufacturer. I mean, who wants to wipe the sink out each time you use it? Pros: Heavy stainless material construction. Loads of damping on the sides & bottom so the sink doesn't "ring" when struck by objects inside. Excellent finish. Excellent packaging - this sink arrived in perfect condition. Design has square edges inside and low profile mount design. Looks more modern than the stamped double stainless sink you grew up with. Cons: The drain basket assembly (which is pretty cool) included with the sink has a formed bottom thread (not a cut thread) and did not seem to hold standard US 1-1/2" threaded plastic nuts well. I was not confident that this would not leak, so I did not use it. Rather, I bought a standard one ($9) at a big-box store for a more reliable, no maintenance attachment. The flat bottom retains water as detailed above. For my install, it's a laundry room sink and it classed the joint up a bunch despite the standing water. So four stars!

Great sink! I was so excited to have this installed. It feels like I have a whole new kitchen now. It does need to be dried with a cloth to keep water spots gone. Easy install and I love the look!

Installed this about two years ago when we moved into our new home. I looove it so much. Easy to install, just a drop in sink and has so much room for dishes. I will say I am NOT careful with watching for scratches because honestly I don’t have time or patience for that. It’s held up very well even though there are scratches on it from my frequent wear and tear and tossing dishes in there all willy nilly. lol I live on a homestead and we aren’t gentle with our appliances and it’s a solid buy. Comes with everything you need to install it, and could easily be priced double than what it is at a major retailer like Home Depot or Lowe’s. I will say if I pour too much boiling water in there without cold water running at the same time it can kind of pop but that’s natural for the metal and you aren’t supposed to do that anyways. It has never deformed or dented from this or anything else I’ve put it through. Shes a champ

I have lived with a basic, shallow, thin aluminum looking laundry room sink for years. After installing 2 expensive kitchen sinks from a big box store, I decided to save some money on replacing the old laundry room sink & Amazon came through! This sink is actually better quality than my kitchen sinks and the install was a breeze. Being a drop in sink, I expected the typical sink install clips with the u channel welded on the underside of the sink. Nope & not a problem. In fact with a good bead of plumbers putty laid around under the lip of the sink, the weight of the sink was enough to securely hold this big boy in place. My big tip is to install the faucet before dropping the sink into place & your install will be easy & flawless. BTW, I'm a 63 year old Grandma. If I can do this, anyone can. Buy this sink, it's great quality, you won't regret your purchase.

Very nice sink. I love it and was exited to install it in my new granite countertop. I was very disappointed that I got a defective item. I bough it back in September (we are doing a complete remodel in the house) we installed in January and oh surprise! Defective sink and out of time frame to return it. The sink is very nice and sturdy. I love it, basket strainer, and accessories are nice, but worthless if defective. Im giving only one star because they send a crocked item.
