Anxious Little Pishy

Finally, there's a kid's book that helps anyone (you don't have to be a kid to get something out of this book) learn how to address and deal with anxiety. And this book is not just for people with anxiety, because it also helps others who haven't experienced it understand what others may be going through and empathize with them. Furthermore, the illustrations are great, depicting cute and adorable sea creatures. I highly recommend this book!

How do you talk to your kids about anxiety? This beautiful book can be a great way to start. One of the biggest challenges we all deal with in trying to help anyone with anxiety and mental health (especially children) is the pervasive stigma and difficulties around where to start the conversation. Little Pishy is a wonderful way to introduce the concept to children and help them understand ways to deal with anxiety. New parents, Teachers and anyone who works with children will find this book to be a great resource in dealing with a very difficult topic!

This is such an adorable and thoughtful book. A beautiful message taken is that anxiety has no age. I love how the book helps normalize these feelings as well as validate them not just for the child but for the adults who read it as well. Thank you!!

A fantastic way to open up the discussion about mental health early on so those kids who suffer from issues like anxiety have an outlet for the often taboo subject matter. This book was amazing! While incredibly cute and well-written, the Anxious Little Pishy also serves as a great way to raise mental health awareness as anxiety diagnosed continue to rise. Would recommend for any parent, child, school teacher, or anyone at all!
