Great knife.

When I got those knives I was really surprised how sharp they are. I actually got 5 of them in different lengh and style about 3 months ago. Last week my husband was slicing the cheese with 6 inch Chefs Knife and the handle broke of. Just now I was cutting the cabage for vegetable stew and this Santoku knife just lost the handle also.. Unbeleavable, 2 knives in 2 weeks and both broken same way. Those knives were the 2 I used the most while cooking. Really dissapointed. They are not very cheap but lasted only 3 months..

The handle has a metal band/insert between the two wooden sides of the handle. The metal is rough and the whole fit and finish is really poor. The blade doesn't seem very sharp, especially for ceramic.
