FTA-450L Airband Transceiver

The FTA450L is the best value Yaesu radio. Whilst it is more expensive than the 250L the inclusion of the screen makes the ease of use unparalleled at this price point… The radio does not have NAV or ILS features or GPS but in reality no GA pilot is likely to use these as they are just not that reliable or accurate… The quality of sound is fantastic and the included accessories makes this great value. The 550AA can be purchased for less but that runs on AA batteries with a life of around 8hrs but the lithium in the 450L means your good for 13hrs+… and with the included charging cradle it’s a cinch to recharge for your next use. Could it be improved… in all honesty I think it’s pretty much spot on as it is.
