Very Impressive Piece of Gear!
I have been looking for a camping cot that is easy to travel with, lightweight, packs small, supports my weight and can be useful in a variety of situations. This thing is beyond comfortable. It is incredibly easy to setup, very light weight and barely takes up any space packed up. In the past, I have found that my years of camping, the bed and camp chair take up a ton of space in my car when I pack for camping. I wanted to find a solution to minimize the space these items take up so I can fit other outdoor gear without having to buy a bigger car, a roof rack or even a trailer. Helinox has the solution! This product is as advertised but I can't get over how comfortable it is. I thought I would need a sleeping pad of some kind but I don't. I tested it out with a standard pillow and sleeping bag and it was great! Even though I spent a lot of money on this, the quality is excellent and it was the missing piece to my gear setup. I wanted a portable bed solution for tent camping, car camping, sleepovers, to keep in my car and to take it on airplanes so I can camp with it when I travel. I'm beyond excited to have found this product and I'm very happy with it. I love the low to ground profile and the option to raise it. I may buy the legs in the future but for now, it gets the job done. If you can afford it, I would recommend investing in this amazing piece of gear!

Great piece of back packing gear
This thing is light, assembles and disassembles quickly, is rugged enough to span over uneven terrain, and strong enough that you can shim up the down hill legs to level it out. Very comfortable with a air mattress on top. I purchased the long version for my 6'3" 210 lb. body. The one small learning curve is dismounting it. You will quickly figure out shifting your weight, rolling over and getting knee/hand down. And just a small sidebar, I had the Black Diamond version. Way too many parts and way too much effort messing with the assembly. This Helinox goes to easy once you've mastered a basic set of steps.

Quality build
I never found such an exceptional sale price as existed in December so I jumped at buying the Cot One. The design, materials, and build of the Helinox Cot One Convertible are outstanding. The innovative design allows this cot to components that are easy to assemble/disassemble while fitting into a 21.5 x 6.5 inch bag. The switch to a pivoting lever on the support legs makes assembly/disassembly a snap from the physical force required in the original version that many complained about. The material for the bedding is taught, accommodates a backpacking air mattress, and is fully supportive although my 185 lbs aren't near the threshold. My problem is I really need the longer version (82.5 inches to sleep comfortably. I had no intention of using this cot for backpacking, but wanted the option of using it for car camping (parking near the base camp) for extended backcountry projects. The weight for the reqular (5.1 lbs) and long (6.3 lbs) are too much weight to add for multi-day mountain hikes. That said, this is the best cot I tried of the many options out there and I strongly recommend. Will have to save my pennies and wait for the far and few between sales on Helinox products for the long version.

Premium and Quality Product to get
I have gone through multiple cots including the Coleman military type. This product is excellent as it is high quality, sturdy, and packable. The nature of this cot is that it won't take up a lot of room but you don't miss out on quality or sturdiness. I am 6 feet and 200 pounds and it feels great. It takes about 3-5 minutes to set up and break down. I use this cot inside a Gazelle t3 tent while overloading. I also use the cot legs to give myself a little height. You may be looking to buy something that is half the cost, I can tell you that if you are interested in minimizing the load out you are going to take with you which also includes the weight you will want to pay the extra money for this set up.

Really Nice, but too expensive for me
This is a fantastic, comfortable, high quality cot....that I returned! Because, as you can no doubt see and it's insanely expensive! There are many knockoffs here on Amazon but if you look closely at them, there are key differences. - Usually, the support bars are two pieces, - the sling material often isn't specified or is "Oxford cloth (whatever that nebulous material is), rip stop, nylon or if you're lucky lighter duty polyester. (Why does this matter? As a long time cot sleeper as the thing that makes cots comfortable is whether the sling sags (too much). Nylon stretches a lot polyester only a little, heavy 600D Polyester like this cot very little and it's likely to last a long time. - The bars locking system isn't as secure, or - they don't have the option to add legs to lift the cot (I didn't try that, but I like the idea, but again not the crazy high cost. I would understand the expense a bit more if the materials used were really expensive/exotic but they're not. They're high quality, but don't justify the price. So, I opted instead for a very similar knockoffs from Costco for $70 with an Oxford cloth cover (we'll see about that over time) and no leg extension option. FWIW, as I'm getting older, I really thought of I'd need the leg extension to get up a and down. But because the cot is so steady and firm, I had no trouble just rolling over onto my stomach then kneeling on the bed with one leg on the ground and easily getting up from there.

Super nice - worth the admittedly high price
After getting over the price, I have enjoyed the fact that this cot is not going to break and let me down out in the field. Super strong, super light and compact, it really shames those other folding cots. Super easy to move around even when set up due to its light weight

Easy to assemble and extremely durable
Its light, durable and very very easy to assemble. Do suggest to get a small pad to put ontop, and i truly wish it came with the feet extenders, makes no sense to sell them separately. Holds my weight no issues and has plenty of length. im 6'1" and weigh 250ish, its a solid cot, and will definitely use for some MTB bike and camp type trips considering its size and weight.
