Aquarium LED Light Dimmer Controller Fish Timing Light Intelligent Dimming LED Lamp Aquarium Light Accesories

I was so excited to finally have figured out the instructions that were apparently translated from Chinese... back to Chinese? I can program this thing with my eyes closed now. Someone give me my PHD! The only issue, and it's kind of important one, is that after the the programing is set up correctly and according to the "instructions", the light that it was designed to operate doesn't follow the program. It just stays on past the time it should dim down or has to be turned on in the morning. Nice toy though.

Pros: No frills, easy to use dimmer/timer to replicate a daylight cycle with dimmable LEDs. I've been looking for something like this, but I was having a hard time finding anything at a reasonable price point, and this was the solution. Timer is easy to set up. The way it works is you set the current time in one mode, and then in another mode you get 8 options where you can enter a time and a brightness from 0-100. So you could set Option 1: 8 am/0 brightness and Option 2: 8:30 am/100 brightness, which means your lights would gradually turn on over a half hour from 8-8:30. With 8 options, this means you could set up 2 on/off cycles with dimming per day. Included instructions were easy enough to follow. Cons: the female plug end didn't fit with the male end of my LED lights. Incidentally the male end worked fine and seemed made to fit. Not sure if this was a manufacturing error in my lights or in the timer, but my solution was to just use excessive force to make the plug go in, and that worked out fine for me Overall: great purchase, really glad I found this and highly recommend it. Exactly the device I was looking for so that I don't shock/stress my fish with lights going on and off. Edit: I've since used this with other lights. It seems that the fit problem I mentioned previously was a problem with the light, not this timer. So... I have no complaints at all. Great product, great price

The instructions come on a tiny piece of paper with just a few lines of instructions. You will need a college degree.
