Excellent .223/5.56 dies and Great Value
I exclusively use Lee dies because I have had good luck with them and they are priced right. This is a great set because it restores brass cases to factory form so cases fired from any gun can be reloaded and will work perfect (opposed to the other less set that only resets the neck). I've been loading hornady cannelured 22 (.224) 55gr bullets and have extremely good luck. I find that when I trim my brass to recommended length (1.760") and I seat the bullet right at the cannelure that the OAL ends up being about 2.220" which performs excellent in my Colt Le6920. For set up, follow the instructions and you should have no problems. Since the factory crimp die is separate I started out by using the bullet seating die and progressively tightening it until the cannelure sate just right in the case. You can continue to tighten it to further seat the bullet to your liking before switching to the factory crimp die (bullets with cannelure is not required but I recommend it since it provides easy guidance for bullet depth). I use a light crimp and have been having good luck. Now for a couple of pointers. I bought the lee universal decapping die to remove all primers to protect my sizing die. I've had several pins break and figure its better to break the universal die pin than the sizing die pin. So basically I have these three dies and the universal decapping die in the turret press at all times and just crank away. However, lately I switched out the decapping die and dropped the universal powder through die in the rotation and like it better so I can leverage four pulls and yield a functional round. If you have a five hole turret then this is a non-issue. I still weigh each load individually (not sure I trust a powder thrower at this point) but the powder through die speeds things up significantly. Lastly, these are standard dies so they will fit in any press. Use lube... I spray Hornady One Shot (can is about $10) on approximately 50-75 rounds in a small shoe box and then shake them around in there to get lube all over.

Good price on a Good set of dies...
If you need/want a neck-sizing die you should purchase the 4-die set. So far I've resized and decapped 1000 plus cases ( some crimped, some not) and reloaded about 200 of those already. Learned early on that you MUST USE CASE LUBE to resize or else they WILL get stuck. I got 2-cases stuck in the first 20 cases I did. I pulled off part of the head and had to remove the collet and drive the case out of the die with a 2-pound hammer on the decapping pin, then clean up the peened over end on the decapping pin so it would fit back through the collet. No further issues after that, with the use of case lube on each case. Works smooth as silk with lube. In future I will decap with a universal decapping die before cleaning in tumbler with media. Then lube and resize each case. That should save me from having to clean each primer pocket manually. I don't like putting dirty cases through my full-length sizing die. Good price on a good set of dies as long as a person uses good sense in using them. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a bargain in reloading dies.

Very good & affordable.
The "snobs" will bash Lee for being cheap junk. Well, I'm here to tell you that these sets are simple to use following the instructions and produce top notch ammo if you do your part. I've had Lee dies for years and whenever I need to replace a part, I just go to Lee's web site and they will replace the part free of charge and I just cover shipping..Just recently I snapped off the depriming pin while working with crimped primers and Lee sent me one at no charge..These come with a shell holder, something not seen in the other die sets. The instructions are well written and easy to follow. Experienced hand loaders can deviate from the instructions to tailor the load to their specific demands, but just following the instructions will produce fine ammo. I've used this particular set to crank out about 5000 223 Rem loads without an issue. I even use it for my bench-rest 223 and produce sub 1/4 MOA rounds. I like Lee products and how they stand behind them, so I will continue to purchase them.

Lee Pacesetter Dies are an Outstanding Value, Very easy to set up and Adjust
I have pictured the New .223 Lee pacesetter Dies along side my 35 year old set of RCBS dies. These old RCBS dies have not seen much use in several years as I have just recently gotten back into reloading. For Christmas this past year, my Wife bought me a set of Lee Pacesetter dies for my 30-30. I got to work loading for the 30-30 right after Christmas and was extremely pleased with these Pacesetter dies!!! The only dies I had used in the past were the old RCBS dies and I can attest that these Pacesetter dies are so superior to them that I had to order a set for the .223. Setting up and adjusting the sizing die is straight forward and easy. The bullet seating die is so superior to anything I have used in the past, I can't express my satisfaction. The crimping die in this set, compared to what I have used in the past, is just outstanding! With my old RCBS set, crimping for use in a mini-14, the cases were very easily distorted. I remember having a very difficult time setting it up. Not so with this Lee set. I have found it nearly impossible to distort the cases as with the old RCBS die. I have to say that I am completely satisfied with these Lee Pacesetter dies. This is by far the best bang for my buck I have gotten on Amazon and I say to anyone who is getting into reloading, Invest in lee dies! I think you will be very satisfied.
