I never learned about emotions and felt so depressed and confused. I stayed away from people. But this book answered my questions and I gave it to my therapist after I read it to give it out to her clients. Great book not only for kids but a 64 year old who is struggling with weird emotions.

My adult daughters with autism loved this book. We had checked it out from the library first and when she loved it, we ordered this copy that she could add her personal story to. Highly recommend!

This is really cute for someone around the age of 6-8. I originally got it for either my daughter age 9 or my son age 7 but it was to girly looking for my son and to basic for my daughter. We gave it to a young friend at her birthday and she loved it. It is good to give a beginner lesson of feelings and recognizing them.

Perfect for children who have a hard time with emotion regulation. Excellent platform for discussing important topics with kids and giving them useful tools to navigate growing up. The best part is our kids beg to go through the book because they love the Inside Out characters who "narrate" the book in a way that is age appropriate, engaging and funny. It is also interactive, giving kids the opportunity to journal their thoughts and develop coping strategies for issues they are facing.

I bought the first copy of this book for myself, because I SO loved the movie. After reading it through, I've decided to buy several more as gifts. This book, so filled with information, is the perfect way for young people to make sense of their ever changing emotions. I thoroughly enjoyed its great artwork, wonderful content and, if the portions of the book for your own thoughts are filled in, it will become a treasured keepsake.

I honestly was a bit disappointed with this book... It's certainly cute and is interactive, but it mostly follows the story in the movie. I was hoping for a more informational approach, but it wasn't found here. It is very well made and hard cover, with fill in the blanks that are great for kids and adults alike. It's just not quite what I expected.

I am a teacher of students with emotional and behavioral disorders. I use Inside Out in my classroom as a way for students to connect emotions to certain actions in themselves. This book is a great asset!! They love reading about how the characters deal with emotions. It's full of great strategies, too. I would recommend this to students age 8+.
