B3 Bomber Jacket Aviator Real Shearling B3 Bomber Jacket Winter

I honestly didn’t have high expectations at all for this jacket. I was fully expecting to return it immediately. I figured I’d take a chance with Amazons great return policy and what a leather store charges for these jackets if you can find them. I’m happy to say it’s so much higher quality than I expected. Seems high quality materials and really high craftsmanship and very well put together. Zipper is smooth as silk. With any leather you will have a tiny spot or two that aren’t totally perfect and this is no different but unless you're looking with a magnifying glass you really wouldn’t notice. The inner phone pocket holds my iPhone pro max perfectly (that’s probably the phone they used to design the pocket). There’s another pocket as well inside on the other side for your wallet or other stuff. The sheepskin (shearling inside) is as thick and warm as you’d expect and also seems to be put together perfectly at the seams. I’m 6ft 245lbs and a 2XL fits perfectly around my chest with a little space. I won’t be wearing anything thick or long sleeved underneath it as I’m not looking to pass out from heat stroke so the fit is perfect for me. There is very little room in the arms but I do have bigger arms than many people and I have full range of motion with the 2XL. The 2XL is probably ok for people a few lbs lighter than me as well. Your decision will come down to what you wear underneath it. For me it’s usually a t-shirt due to how warm these jackets are. Most leather jackets need to be broken in a little and these type of shearlings might need a bit more due to the sheepskin inside. I was also expecting this to need some leather conditioner and to my pleasant surprise it doesn’t! Another win for the price. All around it seems like a really solid purchase for a really great price. I guess the real deciding factor will be how it looks next year after a winter of wear and tear but for now I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. My last one lasted almost a decade. Let’s see what it looks and feels like after it’s 1st NY winter! Oh yeah and inside one of the pockets I found a little extra gift from the manufacturer/seller (a little soft leather wallet). A really nice touch. Those things go a long way. I recommend this shearling for anyone looking for one. If someone wrote a negative review my guess is they’ve never owned one before and was expecting something not realistic or maybe much thicker leather but the weight that would add to an already heavy jacket would be too much for me. This is an A+++++ purchase for me!

Awesome jacket only thing that that I didn't like was the white shearling

I don't normally write reviews, but I'm compelled to for these guys! I'd always wanted a quality REAL leather bomber jacket & was excited when the product arrived. (Nice packaging, by the way.) I treated the jacket after trying it on, with "Leather Honey", going over every inch of the jacket. I'd worn the jacket maybe 4 hours when a tear began on the "upper left back of shoulder" seam (pix attached) & this quickly spread. (I must admit that the jacket was pretty stiff, but hey- it's a chunk of cowhide.) I returned the jacket & literally 3 days later, a replacement arrived, newly packaged, & the replacement jacket was even softer than the original: "supple" is the word I'd use. Jacket fits nicely (I usually wear an XL, ordered that, fits perfectly, with "room to move".) This thing is almost like a "patchwork quilt" in that it's sewn together in pieces, sheepskin on the inside, leather outside. Sheepskin goes down the entire sleeve's inside. Truth be known: these guys deserve 10 stars & the jacket is WAY underpriced for the material quality ALONE. Getcha' one!

UPDATE: I have owned this jacket for 3 years spending many months in a very cold and snowy area of Europe. The weight of this jacket is about 8 pounds and it is very, very warm. The leather is very stiff and was not relaxing at all despite regular wear. I took it to a leather repair shop to have the inner pockets sewn back as the stitching failed and found out why it remained stiff...this is IMPORTANT...this jacket is NOT Completely REAL LEATHER. The shearling is real but the outer leather is bonded in some areas and fake PU in others. Be very careful...this jacket is not what it claims. If you scuff it, the top layer will PEEL off. It is certainly not worth $300. STAY AWAY from this item. I am always a little careful about buying clothing for my upper body because I am bigger than the average bear )). 6'1", 220, 51" chest, 36" waist and 18" biceps. Very often, jackets, sweaters, shirts and especially things that do not stretch are cut smaller than the stated sizes. The XXXL I ordered fit okay. The jacket is heavy in weight and very warm. Suitable for the coldest weather (-20F). The fake leather does not break in and remains very stiff. Further, the material will not hold up for the long term. I replaced a jacket from WILSON Leathers (gave it to my son) that was wonderful. This jacket was an expensive mistake. I CANNOT RECOMMEND this jacket unless you are willing to pay $300 for a fake leather jacket.

I'm a 65 yr old Navy vet and history buff. While I'm still for filling my bucket list. This one is completed. I have always wanted a quality real leather and inner sheep fur WW2 style pilots flight jacket. Though I cant find a authentic WW2 pilots jacket. This Jacket is the real deal. With the quality material and workmanship of this jacket it has clearly exceeds my expectations. I always have had very high standards when it comes to something I really want in my lifes journey. You will not disagree or regret this purchase. It is worth every penny and more. It has been 18 degrees here in the south and the 1st time I wore this jacket in public, the ladies stated it's a good looking jacket and the guys asked where did I purchase it. It is a very warm jacket and compaired to the lesser priced jackets out there, there is no comparison in quality, looks and the real deal. All military men should own one. This is now my go too jacket and I will be wearing this jacket while riding my motorcycle, fishing, long walks in the cold and every day use. It's a thick heavy duty jacket. I would get worried if I left this jacket on the back of a chair while out. It would definitely get stollen. So if your thinking about purchasing this jacket, but 300.00 is holding you back, it is worth much more than 300.00. It will also be part of my will. This jacket will be handed down in my family for years to come, that's saying alot about its quality. Have you ever heard of someone putting a coat or jacket in their Will? This is a none solicited review. Also the only review I have done for a long time. You will definently be pleased with your purchase. Dont even consider any other jacket, you will be missing out on a great jacket. They have many others that look like this, but none of them can come close. Also by the way, I'm not a wimp, but a real outdoors can do type of man who cares how they look, and doesnt like fakes in people or my clothing. Every real outdoorsman should own this jacket.

The leather on this jacket is very nice, and I loved how nicely it was packaged, but unfortunately I have to return it because the jacket is very stiff and the fit is not right for me. The sleeves are tight and I can't move my arms. It's a shame because it looked very nice.

Before I bought it, I asked if it was made in China. Because of Christmas, I could not wait for the response. The response came a month later. The answer was that it is made in Asia. Well, there are 48 plus countries in Asia, so that is not an answer, and it came one month too late. Very disappointed. I thought it was made in Europe / Italy. With the cheap labour they use, I suggest buying another product
