Arrived in excellent condition. Easy to install. Fit perfectly in our old Hotpoint RB787 oven. Old element was producing little to no heat during baking pre-heat process. This replacement fixed the problem. Make sure you unplug the stove first safety reasons. Also, carefully secure the wired terminals while unplugging the old element. If you let them hang free, they may recede back to the oven wall/insulation before you can plug them into the new element. I simply placed the new element beneath the old element. Then transferred each terminal from old to new, one at a time. Then I removed the old element permanently.

my oven is over 25 years old. Search hard to find the right element for this oven, for anyone with a 24inch oven this just might be the perfect element for you like it was me.

The oven bake element just stopped working (on Christmas!!!), after only 8 months. Don't buy it if you want something that lasts longer. The original element lasted 16 years, the first replacement 7 years, this last one not even a year.
