I've used this extreme epoxy before with great success, apart from the fact that you only get two mixing nozzles in the pack and can't get any extra. Because of my previous success I had no hesitation, when I had two important repairs to do, in ordering another one. However, the first thing you do (after unpacking), is to break off the tab sealing the adhesive and hardener. This is where things went wrong, it WOULD NOT come off easily. Eventually when I had removed it , it was immediately apparent the although the adhesive was flowing freely, the hardener tube was still blocked. I thought I had succeeded in unblocking it and continued with my repairs. Unfortunately this was not the case, according to the instructions you have 30 seconds before the epoxy begins to harden and one minute until it is almost immoveable. However, on repair failed after standing clamped for an hour, and thee second repair is still moveable over twenty four hours later. In conclusion, the epoxy IS brilliant but beware the packaging.

I managed to break the little end sealing cap off - just. But then the glue not only doesn't come out into the mixing nozzle, but it doesn't come out at all even when I cut a bit more of the end off. I ended up having to hacksaw the tube off about a third of the way down and try and dig a bit of each liquid out with a golf tee. Will opt for gorilla next time - looks a lot simpler

This 2 part epoxy is brilliant. Sets in 60 seconds, hard in 10 mins. Perfect. But the over-complicated tubes/applicator are a disaster. Who designed this terrible system? There's a lot of waste if you use the long nozzles, too much to make them viable. And it's VERY difficult to stop the two parts coming together where they exit their tubes. If they do, they set and you can't get any more out - ever. There is nothing wrong with having two separate ordinary tubes, easier, simpler. works best.

Great glue

We have used epoxy resins for many purposes over many years and have never had an issue. Then I bought Loctite 1 minute glue. I can only think there was a problem during manufacture/filling. Basically the top wouldn’t come off. No amount of tugging or twisting helped so the pliers came out, still no joy. Even mole grips wouldn’t release the top. In desperation we carefully cut the top away, applied the nozzle and pressed the plunger. The resin fired out in all directions and what little bit that was left did not repair the metal to metal wind spinner fin. Two very disappointed customers
