Thule One-Key System

Great lock set. Easy to replace on my Thule bike rack

I should have bought this years ago. I previously had to keep a massive bunch of keys hidden in the car just in case I needed to unlock: roof bars; roof box; roof cycle rack; towbar cycle holder. The bother of it all got worse when the barrels for the locks stopped being stamped with the key number for understandable security reasons. I now have a single key that will unlock everything. The key code is known only to me so that gives added peace of mind. Definitely worth the buy. Be sure to count everything that has this type of barrel, e.g. my roof box isn't a Thule one but the barrels are the same so I was able to swap those too.

Having bought a Thule car roof rack system ( with four locks ), and two Thule cycle racks ( with two locks for each rack ), it was good to find this kit to change all locks to a matched set that will work with a single key. A bit of a waste re the old set of lock barrels, but as the component parts had to be purchased from three different suppliers, it was worth it.

I thought this was on a TIN can as seen in the picture. I have purpose for the tin can that's why I am a little bit disappointed.

Really easy to fit and change over. Keys are better than the originals. Really pleased I did this.

These keys are compatible with every Thule system, and work like a standard lock. Once you put it in the product, that product will be likely protected by theft and personally, coming in an area with a lot of stolen Thule, this is a life saver. Worth the money.

Ho acquistato 2 portabici da tetto thule pro con 4 serrature, e avevo già in uso un box tetto di 11 anni con 2, e per avere meno chiavi in giro ho optato per un set di 6 cilindri. Devo dire che fa il suo dovere, e i cilindri sono compatibili anche con il "vecchio" box, installazione rapidissima grazie alla chiave master in dotazione con il set. Per quanto riguarda quelle dei portabici si smontano dalla posizione "sbloccata/aperta", per il box invece la posizione è intermedia visto che ha il blocco per evitare di sfilare la chiave dalla posizione di apertura. Come riportato da altri utenti ho ingrassato i cilindri nuovi prima di inserirli.

THULE TH859XTを取り付けましたが、キーが付属されていませんでした。高価なものでキーが着いていないことで盗難の対処になるのも回避したくキーを購入して取り付けました。 4箇所取り付けましたが、シリンダーの装填がイマイチどこに合わせたか分からず回しているうちに入った感じです。もう取外すことがないので問題ないのですが？？ これでいたずらに外そうとされないことは一安心です。
