WHERE DID TH SMELL GO?!?!?
I vape regularly and use 30ml of juice in 2-3 months. So if you ever Vaped or smelled vape before, you would know just the slightest puff fills up the room in seconds with smell. I got this because of the good reviews and the weed/dab YouTube channels raves about this. Well they are right. I run an Aspire Celto on a WISMEC Reuleaux 2/3 and blow a 2 second draw from this into the smoke buddy. Let me tell you that this thing literally zaps the smell. After you blow your smoke into this, it is gone. No smoke, no smell, no nothing. I freaked when I first used this. I just sat there looking at it thinking "TF THE SMOKE GO?!?! WHERES THE SMELL?!?!?". But seriously this thing works and gets rid of the smoke and smell 100%. If that's what your worried about then buy this now. It is so worth the $12 somthing I payed for it and will be a loyal smoke buddy customer for as long as I live. I have not used the mini or the mega so I can't say anything about that. If your on the fence, buy this now. No debate. This is your final stop. No more research. This is it. It works and worth the money. (Edit 2/1/17) I have found that when you blow the smoke into the filter, some of it escapes out your nose and I have had to pinch it.

Love my Smoke Buddy!
On like my 9th one in 2 years now. I will always have one of these around for as long as I need to hide smoke and smell. I find they work for a LOT longer than the estimated amount of puffs. I use a pipe and cap it off after each puff and get a solid seal on the smoke buddy and there is no smell or smoke in my room. Use it every night hours on end at times and it works great for a long time. When it starts to get harder to blow through I just set it aside for a month or so and let it dry out and start a new one. Then when I go back to old one it still works pretty good. I toss out the caps and leave it open to help keep it dry. I also wipe out the inside with a paper towel after each session to keep the moisture out. Cool little device!

If you learn how to clean it, you'll get your money's worth!
So, everybody is always complaining about how soon this, and all personal smoke filters, get clogged and become useless. Well, guess what, it doesn't need to be that way! The first thing you can do to extend its life when new, is to gently pack the inlet area with cotton balls. They serve to absorb both moisture and resin, extending the life considerably. But, it doesn't need to end there. You can actually clean it! There are a couple of things you’ll need, but they’re really not that costly, and, with daily use, replacing one of these every time it clogs, IS! First, you’ll need some 99% Isopropyl alcohol. As I have many uses for it, I buy it here at Amazon, 4 gallons at a time, to save money on it. Here, I get it for around $70 for 16 quarts. If you price it in a store, for a single quart, it’s far more. Also, it’s easy to use, as it comes in 16, 1 Qt plastic bottles. I use about 1/2 quart to do the cleaning, which means I’m getting a new filter for 2 or 3 dollars! There is one other thing you may need, but I’ll get to that in a bit. So, here’s the process. First, get the deepest pan you have and fill it with scalding hot water, like around 150ºF. If you don’t have tap water that hot, you can heat it to just below boiling on a stove - BUT - if it’s a gas stove, be certain to shut it off after heating the water and do the process away from it. The hot water is used to heat up the alcohol safely, without risk of fire. Place the quart bottle of alcohol, with its cap loosened to allow for expansion (IT MUST BE 99% PURE!), into the pan. Then fill the pan with the heated water. The more of the bottle you can get below the water line, the better. Allow sufficient time for the heat to transfer. After a few minutes, tighten the cap on the bottle and give it a shake, then loosen it again and put it back. When you can feel that the alcohol is fairly hot, you’re ready to proceed. Find a container that you can either clean, or are willing to dispose of. Hold the filter’s mouth piece down, over the container, and begin pouring the hot alcohol into the filter. Go slow and don’t run it over, or you’ll make a mess to clean up. Repeat this until close to 1/4 of the bottle has passed through. Then, turn the filter over and pour it in from the other end. Now comes the final step, and not everyone will find this necessary. All depends on how patient you are. Now that you’ve flushed it with alcohol, you need to get all the residual alcohol out! I happened to have a tool I keep in my Snooker parlor, a blower that I use to blow off the felt, instead of brushing it. The blower has 2 speeds and it comes with several tips, one of which is almost perfectly sized for our task. It’s the, “KOTTO Multi-Use Electric Air Duster”. But, at this time, there are only 2 available on Amazon, and they’re from Amazon sellers. But, if you do a search for, ASIN B084MH81HK, you’ll find the listing, and if you scroll down to the listings of similar products, you’ll find something appropriate. It does need to be a high speed blower, and it needs to be able to be inserted into the mouthpiece of the filter and get at least a 90% seal. Wrapping adhesive tap around them can achieve this, if the gap isn’t too great. So, take the blower and the filter outside and find a place where the alcohol that’s going to come out won’t cause any harm. Then, crank it up. Keep at it until almost none is coming out. Then, reverse it. Obviously, it’s not going to seal inserted into the outlet end. But, placing it against the plastic frame above the filter and moving it around will help. Then, go back to the mouth piece one last time. When you can’t see any drops from either end, it’s good. The whole process, from start to finish, only takes about 15 to 20 minutes. And, it can take less work, but more time, if you elect not to purchase a blower. In that case, you’ll need to place the filter in a safe place, preferably outdoors, and simply allow the alcohol to evaporate. I’ve never resorted to this, and I’m sure the time it takes, but it will be directly related to how ‘clean’ you got the filter, as the less resin left in the alcohol you’re trying to evaporate, the faster it will do so. When I do this, my filter blows like new. And, I put it to the test. I use it because I have a Macaw (huge parrot), and she sleeps on a perch at the foot of my bed. I smoke extracts with a Health Stone® and a twin chamber bong. The hits are huge and the smoke exhaled is copious! With a brand new filter, I can see a faint wisp of smoke, and after I clean one, I see no more than with a new one. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that the maker could make it last longer and be easier to clean, if they'd just make it so one can change the HEPA filter that is the final thing the smoke sees when it passes through this filter. So, that’s it, and happy toking!

You're gonna want to keep it clean
It works amazingly and for the exact reason you're buying it. Warning though that if you just use the raw unit and blow the direct smoke into it that tar and gunk will build up on the inside and the unit itself will start to smell, I personally used either cotton balls or tissue paper inside the first area before the filter to catch the gunk so you could take those out and toss. Helped a ton with making the unit not reek. Used daily for several months, with or without the cobbled together gunk catching it works great, you'll need to exhale hard to push the smoke through the filter or else it'll get caught between your lips and filter and then pop back out the moment you take your lips off. Used inside an enclosed apartment and had zero smell aside from the actual burning. Just keep it clean and you're good.
