LET-301 Replacement Transformer 300W 12V AC Electronic Unit (Replacement for GE Lightech LET-301 GELT300A12012C 66973)

Was devistated to find out the transformer for my fabulous 15 year old chandelier was discontinued. Couldn’t find a leftover one anywhere. Saw this one on Amazon as a replacement and even though it was square instead of round the measurements were fine for the housing. Had it installed today couldn’t be happier. It works!

Really big, fill almost all space. I have to install it carefully to max use the screw. Good thing is it works perfect, and this is the only one I can find to replace the old LET301 transfer.

It was easy to install. I'm glad it fit due my original model discontinue. I had just one: it was too tied due bigger than original model

Product failed after less than 3 months of use. Replaced a transformer in a monorail track light system with this one and it failed shortly after replacing.

After troubleshooting our burned out, round LET-301 in our chandelier base, we measured the space carefully and used this transformer. It works perfectly, makes no noise, and was easy to install (once you take the chandelier off the ceiling). Highly recommend this transformer, but do make careful measurements that it fits your application.

Happy to find a transformer for my modern Venetian chandelier. Now I can keep my favorite light!

I believe the reason this transformer was developed is because the one it replaces, LET-301-AC overheats. When my electrician removed the canopy, the wires were burned. This replacement transformer has vents to help keep it from over heating.
