bright low-voltage floodlight
First impression is very positive. Easy to install. Works well with my timed low-voltage transformer. Very bright, floods the area with light. We will see if the lifetime is good.

Powerful Light, Flimsy Mounting Bracket
Fantastic light that illuminates a very large area for minimal wattage. The mounting bracket is really thin. I only have a few days on this so far. I will revisit this review in a few months if I experience any issues.

Great but could be more durable
They work great after about 6 months they still work like new! However there is one bad part. 2 out of 6 lights have loosened the bolts and they got lost somewhere down the road so I have to hold those lights on with other things until I can find new bolts for it. Also, be careful with the mounts they bend very easy. Other than that they work great! I would reccomend thread lock tho so the bolts don't back out on a long drive!

This cooler white does very nicely, very bright
This light is very bright. Uses about 1.78 amps at 12v. Everything seems on par with what is advertised. These work really well for security lights outside. I have had the "warmer" versions and felt they weren't as bright nor did they give a true color to everything it cast its light on. This cooler white does very nicely, very bright, accurate color. Definitely going to buy more. ***UPDATE July 2017*** I have had this light connected to a 24v 140ah battery bank fed by two 100w solar panels and a simple dusk-to-dawn charge controller for almost a year and a half. Every night it has worked fine. It has seen temperatures as low as -5F to 105F and has not had a problem once. It has seen rainfall rates over 4 inches an hour and even 1" hail... still... no problems. Granted, these types of lights are not fool-proof; I have several 10w versions and 2 of those 10w versions have gone belly-up after about a year. But I also have 10w versions that are more than 3 years old and still going strong. For the price, you really cannot go wrong. For my personal experience with these types of outdoor lights they have about a 15% failure rate. If I were spending more money, then I'd be upset. But these costs about a dollar a watt and overall they do very well for the money. Definitely still a five-star value. Will try and update again if/when the 20w ever does fail, but right now I'm a happy camper. ***UPDATE April, 2018*** Ok so in the past few months, this little fellow gave up the ghost after all these nights. Do I still think its a great value? Oh, you bet. In fact, as I write this I await my second one to replace the first. Yes, I am buying another to replace my first one that I ran every night for the past few years. As long as you are not planning to install it somewhere remote or difficult to get to where you want more than a decade of service, these are still an amazing bargain. Verified purchase X2. ;)

Amazing value - intense off-grid work light.
Amazing value. I've purchased other lower wattage fixtures like this (I.e. 10w) and they were fine but not bright enough for a work light, especially at dusk. Those are best for illuminating a pathway or stoop. This light is definitely bright and intense enough to call a work light, comparable to my 250w cheapo halogen light that still cost more and requires the generator. Just 30 freakin watts at 12v dc… I just can't. And it's like outdoor and/or light industrial duty. Mind=blown. Update: A year later, I am still in love with these. I have several, and interestingly they look like they were made in different factories. That's cool, but I have to leave a tip here for my fellow DIY people. For a little while I thought a couple of my units were defective because when I applied power to them they would blink maybe once a second instead of come on nice and strong. I jumped to the conclusion they were defective because I was doing everything the same, and they're so cheap. Also, it was all the units that looked like they were from one particular factory. I was out of my return window when I finally got around to wiring those up, so I tried diagnosing it, and what I found was that my wires and/or connectors that I had soldered to the leads were inadequate. When I upgraded to thicker wire (thin-strand wire is the best) and better connectors (like XT60 or so) then everything worked as expected. In the end, I wound up extra impressed I didn't blow them by under-powering them.
