I couldn't be happier with the Smart Scent Air Machine Pro. This HVAC scent diffuser has truly transformed my home into an oasis of relaxation and wellness. In my house there is always some type of candle or warmer going to add a scent to the air, now this is great but... it generally doesnt work for long because someone opens a window or a door and then poof out goes the nice smell. Now add to that that candles - even with a warmer really are just hot smelly wax, and if one happens to get knocked into you have a hot wax mess that has to be cleaned up, not to mention the actual fire hazard if you light one. This is your solution, now it will take a tiny bit of time to mount the unit to your furnace / air conditioner and you can buy scents on Amazon and you are done.. this has several very distinct advantages 1) larger size refills mean the scent you pick lasts longer 2) there is no messy wax or little tiny airwic refills that you have to always buy 3) one scent for the whole house -- no more variations and or making sure you buy 10 airwic's 4) you dont have to worry about an open flame 5) works with AC or HEAT or just turn on the circulating fan. This is a great product - fairly easy to install ( read the instructions ) it DOES NOT come with a scent, but Amazon carries lots of varieties ( order at the same time so you can get it up and running right away ) The headline here is this is very well built, and after the initial purchase very economical to run and most importantly does a great job !

Just to clarify, this review is for the large version of the diffuser product. I just left the UPS store because I returned it . The product states that it covers 4500 ft.². Please note that many of the positive reviews on the product site are for very small inexpensive diffusers, and not for the large costly diffuser. They clump them together review-wise however the large version is a couple hundred dollars so it’s very different. My wife and I were excited to purchase this product and when it arrived we connected it to our HVAC system following the directions. Set up was easy. We have two floors in our house totaling 6900sq ft and we connected it to the 2000 square-foot floor HVAC only because we assumed that if it was designed to cover 4500 ft.² that it would work incredibly well at 2000 ft.² Unfortunately, within two days the LED screen broke. And was illegible. We were still able to change settings using the app which connects to the unit via Bluetooth. But This was really frustrating. I would’ve hoped that it would’ve worked for a long time . There are reviews stating that this has happened to others as well. Please note them. The second issue is that the diffuser only puts out scent at a certain flow rate. The diffuser can be adjusted by changing how long the diffuser stays on, and how frequently it emits the scent but the flow rate is constant. So if you are pushing air through your furnace consistently. You are only getting a very dilute concentration of the oil and we could barely smell the scent in the closest rooms and we definitely could not smell it in the distant rooms. Remember, this was a 2000 square-foot area . You see Just because the machine is bigger and comes with a larger price tag, All that means is it has a larger reservoir bottle. it does not push the oil through the machine at a faster flow rate. So, the amount of fragrance you get through all vents throughout the system is going to be very minimal. Overall this machine doesn’t really work well and the machine is very poor quality, it was quite a disappointing purchase. And I absolutely could not recommend it. And, if you are thinking that you were going to use it to connect it to your HVAC and make your house smell like a hotel all the time like we did, you will be very disappointed. Look elsewhere. I hope this review leads you to a better product .

So I tried 3 other brand diffusers before getting this one on Prime Day's. My experience for the other 3 diffusers was bad. One dripped all the time, another one was not strong enough and the third one had a buggy bluetooth app. I grabbed this unit on Prime Day's and have been nothing but happy with it. It came packaged very well with an extra big tank. The unit has a nice look with everything concealed behind the door. The app works very well and had it up and running in 5 minutes. The one thing I like about the app is it tells you how many days the oil will last by your settings. I am renting now and use it as a standalone unit, but this unit will also work when I buy a house and install it to the HVAC system at 4500sf.

The first thing I noticed about this was the size and weight. It has a little heft to it compared to other similar waterless diffusers I own. Downloading the app literally took seconds…no issues there. It goes by military time 🤦🏼‍♀️😵‍💫 which made it kind of a hassle for me to set…if there’s a setting to convert it to regular time I can’t find it. 🤷🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️ His unit comes with everything needed to use via hvac system or as a standalone. I choose to use it as a standalone as I have a fairly new hvac system and found out that using it would void the manufacturer’s 10 year warranty (keep that in mind when deciding how to use this). One thing that was really annoying with this unit is that the bottle doesn’t screw on tightly to the nozzle…when you DO tighten it all the way, it’s doesn’t align correctly with the output nozzle, so I had to loosen it slightly. The instructions recommend using the white plumbers tape (included) to ensure a good seal. Having a tight seal is imperative if you want to keep this (or any other waterless diffuser) from leaking. So far, it’s fine, but I will amend this review immediately if it begins to leak. Keep in mind that the claim of ‘up to 4500 sq ft coverage’ will have many variables… obviously, using it as a standalone probably won’t give you those results the way it would if connected to hvac. Also, the oil you buy matters! The intensity of the scent will different depending on how strong of an oil you use. When I first started a waterless diffuser endeavor about a year and a half ago, I was really clueless. But over time I have found that, while you don’t have to buy the most expensive brand, you definitely don’t want to skimp and go cheap. You want to make sure the oil is toxin and chemical free, safe for people and pets, and IFRA certified. After all, you and your family and guests will be surrounded by it. Unfortunately, the high quality oils are more expensive… splurge on the oil and cut back elsewhere.,,it’s worth it. We are currently using LEVONA Miami Dreams and just really love the way it makes our entire home smell….not too floral, not too sweet, not too citrusy or musky…just pleasant, neutral and nice. The only reason I even mention an oil in this review is because when I first started out, I was overwhelmed by so many choices and really wished someone could recommend a good, high quality scent…so there ya go. Currently, this is priced at approximately $179 with a $30 off coupon to use at checkout which makes this a very reasonable price point. I’ve tried the more expensive name brand, and really, they don’t work any better (or worse) than this one. This unit is a perfect one to start with. One last thing…. ALL waterless diffusers require maintenance…if you don’t have the time for it, then I don’t recommend getting one at all. About once a month, you’ll need to take the empty oil bottle and fill it with just a little bit of rubbing alcohol and run the diffuser for 10-15 minutes. This will clear/dislodge any oil that may have accumulated around the dispersing nozzle (which is normal). When it’s not regularly maintained this way, it WILL leak…you can almost count on it. So take the time to maintain it. It’s frustrating to spend good money on a high quality oil only to have it start to leak around the diffuser. Good luck on your waterless diffuser venture…waterless IS THE WAY TO GO. Oils last far longer than the ones you mix with water. Is this going to change your life? Nah. Will it scent 4500sq ft sitting on an entryway table? Nope. But it WILL disperse your favorite scented oil continuously and intermittently throughout the main areas. 👍🏻👍🏻

I have owned many different oil diffusers over the years, and this is by far my favorite. Most other electric oil diffusers use a water element and work by combining the scented oils with the water and then diffusing it out into the air in a fine mist. The problem with that is that you have to keep them where that mist doesn't damage surrounding furniture, walls, etc. And they have to constantly be refilled. This diffuser does not use water to diffuse the oil into the air. You simply fill the oil reservoir on the inside of the unit, plug it in, and it dispenses the oil into the air without any residue or spray. Upon getting the diffuser, and finding an oil that I wanted to use (I used a scented oil that is also used in a large hotel chain), I plugged it in in the corner of my living room. I have a large living room that has vaulted 2 story ceilings, and is central to the whole house (with stairs going up to the second level, as well as a few stairs going down to a split level). I synced it with my phone's bluetooth and navigated the app download. (The app is a little confusing at first and I had to study the instructions to figure it out, but is easy to use now.) The diffuser makes a humming noise when it is activating the spray, and then is silent the rest of the time. After plugging it in I could smell the scent right away in the immediate area. After about two days I can now smell the scent diffused throughout my whole house. It is is not overpowering, and I had people over one evening who commented on the pleasant smell in my house. It doesn't bother my Mother or my kids, who sometimes have a sensitivity to air fresheners. Overall I am very impressed and happy with this purchase. It was a bit of a splurge, but totally worth it. I would definitely recommend it. I am also considering putting one at my place of business because I think it would make our showroom smell very fresh and pleasant. I would definitely recommend it. Just make sure you purchase oil as well separately, as this unit does not include oil.

I was super excited to install this on our HVAC system but it doesn't seem to work well enough. I can barely smell it and that's if I'm directly under a vent when the air is blowing. I really wanted the whole house to be full of scent. You can adjust the amount of scent being dispensed but i think to really get it to fill the house it would need to be on the highest setting and would use a full tank of scent in 6 days. That's way too expensive. I'm going to remove it from the HVAC and just use it in our family room. It should hopefully fill the downstairs of our house with scent that way.

I did a lot of research before purchasing a cold air diffuser. I was originally looking at the Aroma 360 (the hotel version) and couldn’t justify spending $1,000+ on an item with mid reviews. I came across this one, with many good reviews and I especially was drawn to the reviews that mentioned open concept and 2 stories as that is what we have. Our home is a 2500 sq foot 2 story & wanted something that was HVAC ready & waterless. For the price, I figured it was worth a shot, I am so glad I bought it! I needed something that would lighten the life scents we bring into our home; we have 2 teenagers 😂 plus a few pets. We’ve been using this for a few days now & the machine is fantastic. It was easy to set up, the app works great & it’s very quiet! It holds a large amount of oil, no residue and the timer is awesome. Custom dosing the mist to what is needed & love that you can set a schedule within the app. I did purchase Levona oil to use, it’s cold air oil & the scents are perfect! Very clean oil & not overpowering.
