I used these to replace all of the older (yellow-ish) halogen dome lights in my 2007 Mazda CX-9. (Five total: 2x Map lights, 1x Middle Row dome, 1x Third Row dome, 1x Rear Hatch door light). My concern was that they may be too bright, particularly in the map light position up front. However they are exactly perfect! A bit brighter than the originals (I'd guess 50% brighter) - they won't blind you, even in a pitch black night, and will make reading or seeing small things at night easier. They're a much clearer and cleaner light. The entire inside of the car is now lit much, much better! Besides being more practical illumination, they also give our 13 year old car a very modern look. The CX-9 has a feature where the interior lights slowly dim after the door is closed, until they extinguish. These LEDs retained that feature. (I didn't expect it, but they do.) Physically, these lights are exact matches in length, end-to-end, as the DE3175 bulbs they replace. While both have little cone-shaped end caps, the caps on the originals are just a hair shorter and are finished with a small nib or tab on the tips. This allows the light to be seated by their tips into small holes in the light fixture clips. These LEDS are all cone/no nibs, and this design forces the clips to spread about a half-millimeter further apart. It worked okay in my car and no work-arounds were needed. Lastly, these lights are polarity-sensitive, which is noted on a sticker on the package, so you shouldn't be surprised. If they don't light up after installation, there's a possibility that the ends may need to be switched around. All in all (at least on day-1) I am extremely pleased with these lights, and can happily recommend them. Especially for this low price, which is less than the price of 2 name-brand LED bulbs in a brick-and-mortar store.

I bought these led bulbs when I was down to just one map light working in my 2019 Kia Sorrento. I've never had interior lights burn out, but here I was. I love that these came in a nice little plastic case, and they were all wrapped up in bubble wrap inside of it too. Very well protected! The bulbs were incredibly easy to change. I did share a picture of the original light, next to one of these new bright white bulbs. Quite a difference! I had enough to change all of my interior lights, and have some leftover. (2 map lights, one dome light and one interior trunk light) I really like that the bright white led made the car seem more updated, than the stock yellowish stock lights that were in it. I also ordered these in bright blue, and I'll likely change to those in the summer months. I can not speak to the longevity of them yet, however they are LED and seem very well constructed.

For years, I have shied away from using, or letting any one else use, the overhead lights in my 2012 Chevy Colorado pickup truck. Early on. I discovered the heat from the factory installed halogen bulbs was destroying the external paint on top of the cab, directly over the roof-mounted light fixture. One dome light and two reading lights. I was looking for something else entirely when I stumbled on these lights, and I finally did something about my dome light issue. Replaced all 3 bulbs and the result is wonderful. Better illumination and FAR FAR cooler. I did have some doubt about which size to buy. Should have gotten one size larger, but these do manage to clip in and make contact, though a few more MM would be better.

Much brighter than the OEM incandescent. Find out how to replace the bulb before attempt. I did a F150 and a Hyundai both had some years on I was afraid of breaking the getting brittle plastic but all went well after watching the shade tree mechanic videos. Think I will change out them all out (front and back and glove box) I like the brighter illumination.
