Best Small Bluetooth Scanner On the Market In My Opinion
Im a Dealer who buys tons of cars at auctions. I use this scanner with me to make sure cars dont have codes or to scan codes on cars. This thing is solid. Small, works fast, gives good diags. Ive bought a couple of these cuz ive forgtton them in cars at the auction and it shocks me its only 40 bucks. Really good quality product for the price. I also have the blue version speciically for Audis and VW's and that one is nice aswell.

Auto mechanics need to use this
I live in Atlanta Georgia and my son lives in Houston Texas. He drives a 2020 vehicle. He called complaining about his car was making a loud noise. He supposed to start a new job and this was going to stop him from going to his new job on Monday. This happened on a Saturday afternoon. So he used an app called my mechanic. The mechanic came to the home charge him $85 to tell him that he had a timing change problem. I sent this product to my son's house overnight it was there the next morning. My son hooked it up to his car turned it on and it gave him a simple diagnosis. He looked it up on YouTube figured how to fix it on his own and his car runs normal again. This thing saved me $1600 😂 mechanic should use this as a backup. They try to listen to the car like they used to back in a day. Being an auto mechanic used to be a science. This thing has made it in art! It was so easy to use even a fifth grader could use it. It was definitely reliable because after it provided the diagnosis my son was able to fix the problem his self. The connection is easy thank goodness cars today have universal connections. It's got a cool appearance it's lightweight and he can take it anywhere with them. And the readability was perfect enough for him to go on YouTube and figure it out on his own. I'm going to send one of these to all of my children Great advice to provide them for Christmas especially if they have older cars.

It provides some useful information
It does in fact provide some useful information, however, some of the data is provided without any context. Pros: Compact, easy to use, provides some usable information, affordable and allows for reports about each time you run the full battery of diags on your vehicle. Cons: There is no useful included documentation, other than how to associate the module to your mobile device using blue tooth (in 6 or 7 different languages). Online help is slightly better. In all seriousness, if you're expecting the same level of output and control as a professional OBDII analyzer, then you might be a little disappointed, but for basic information, it's pretty good and very intuitive.

Works great and great value
Works great on my cars, 2007 Honda Pilot and 2018 GMC Sierra. Diagnosed my active shutter issue and oxygen sensor.

Basic Code Reader.
Though simple to use, the unit did not pick up an error code for my Toyota that the dashboard displayed. AUTOPHIX read my review and refunded my money. Great customer service

Does what it says it'll do, but also interferes with my Key FOB!
After installing and using this product, I was very satisfied with the outcome. After a while, I started noticing that my Key FOB wasn't locking/unlocking my doors. Sometimes it would lock them and not unlock them and vice versa. Didn't happen all the time. Of course at first I figured it was the FOB battery (same thing on my spare key fob), I tested the batteries at first, and even though they tested fine, I bought a couple new batteries and installed them. Still the same problem. I was getting concerned that it might be something to do with the radio frequency transmitter, which would be quite expensive, but then I remembered putting the OBD2 in, and right around that time was when the trouble started. I've since removed the OBD, and for over a week now, the doors are opening just fine. I suppose I can still use the OBD when I sense something is wrong with my car, or the check engine light comes on, but I liked the idea of being able to leaving it plugged in. BTW, I have a 2015 Chevy Equinox.
