Wow! The Qi -enabled charging is pretty magical. I actually didn’t know it existed until I upgraded my phone (iPhone 6s->iPhone 11...big jump 🙂) This works great for the newer phones that have the Qi charging capabilities. I didn’t know how great it would be since I seemed to always need my 6s plugged in even while browsing social media because my battery was just draining. Turns out these newer phones have much longer lasting batteries. If you are streaming music or movies you may need to charge more than just at night but either way this works great. It lets you know right away that charging is happening (I mean, who has had their phone plugged in for hours “charging” only to find it wasn’t pushed in all the way so never charged? Can’t be just me!). The light around the base turns green as soon as it recognizes a Qi-enables phone and just starts charging right away. If it’s not Qi-enabled the light will just blink as if searching but feeling like something is there. Just a note, if you have a pop socket, this won’t work through the thickness of the socket. If you use a magnetic phone holder where you put a metal disk between your phone and case, the Qi-charger also will not work. But otherwise this will work great for thicker otter box style cases as long as you don’t have add one like the pop socket or metal plate. There is an insert with the charger that says Qi-charging is slower than wired charging but if you use the included wall adapter the charging is at 10W (for Samsung) or 7.5W (for iPhone). Not sure what that means except it gets faster if you use the included wall adapter rather than just one of the million white iPhone blocks you have lying around the house. Overall, I’m very impressed. Fast enough charging for me and no worrying about worn and broken cords constantly needing to be replaced. Very pleased with my purchase.

First before purchasing, make sure your exact phone is listed as a phone that works with this charger. Next, there are some phone cases that may need to be removed from the phone so it will charge. We have two Iphones and one is in an extra durable two piece hard case but this still charges the phone but I know there are instances where the case is an issue. I love that this charger turns green around the base so you know you have placed your phone on perfectly and that it is charging. I am just so happy with our purchase here. Our Iphone was not connecting to our cord charger to charge and we were talking about having to purchase another phone which we did not want to do, however this wireless charger fixed the issue and our phones are charging perfectly. Great buy and value.

For the ease and quick charge capability, this is easily a 5-star product. It's affordable and is plug and play. I use with a Samsung s10e, and have had no charging issues whatsoever (charging while inside of its case) However, the light on the device is extremely annoying and sometimes has problems. The intent is the device is supposed to be dark, briefly turn on when you place a phone to indicate charging has begun, and resume darkness. It's supposed to flash if there's a charging issue. However, several times after the phone was removed from the charger it started flashing like a maniac, and continued for several minutes (unplugging will obviously stop it). Replacing the phone on the charger would stop the flashing, but as soon as it was removed the flashing resumed. This is highly problematic as my spouse and I sometimes grab a phone and leave while the other is sleeping at night, and the light is extremely bright. While the charging feature is 5-star for me, the light feature barely qualifies for a single star, though I'll give it a begrudging 4-star review as the flashing only happens sometimes.

So easy to use

I received the item today. Cost about $13 including taxes. It comes with the pad, wire, and wall plug. The packaging was nice and simple and included all accessory. I don't really need a wireless charger, but for $13, I thought I would give it a try. My concern was its price in comparison to other wireless chargers. The other ranges from 20 to 50. I have a Samsung 8 plus. I have a case around it that is about 5mm thickness. Once plugged on, I put my phone on it and it charges. I am not sure how long it takes to charge from 0% to 100% but its mainly used for overnight charging for me. I have a fast charger already so this is not for that purpose. I need my phone sometimes at night when I get calls for emergency work at the hospital. So having my phone plugged in, I just yank it off sometimes and knock over other objects on my night stand. This will make things a lot easier as all I need to do is lift up the phone. Now that might sound insane as people might criticize and say "don't be lazy, just unplug your phone". When you're called at 3am in the morning, you want whatever is easiest for you. For $13, its not too much to ask for. I will just eat less one time at Panera and that will make up the difference. =) Overall, I am very impressed with the item due to the function, price, packaging, and the ease of use. The cord itself is about 3ft, so perfect for me. If you're on the fence about wireless chargers and don't want to spend $40 on one, I think this would make a good compromise.
