Plenty of vocabulary ! Howver not for complete beginners, try duolingo or some resource before jumping into assimil. Review: Good book, if a little too formal - Good book, if a little too formal. First part is excellent: as it deals with everyday words and tenses. Then, it teaches the difficult tenses and words about midway through the book: takes away the motivation to continue.

Awesome!

Good book, if a little too formal
Good book, if a little too formal. First part is excellent: as it deals with everyday words and tenses. Then, it teaches the difficult tenses and words about midway through the book: takes away the motivation to continue.

Laguage learning book with no CD audio enclosed
I got the book on time but the related CD audio was not in the package. Learning from a book with out the CD audio is impossible.

Loaded with necessary information required for communication starting from the very first lesson. Quality of the audio is good.
