I have a piece of electronic equipment in my truck, which I use for work every day, however, it occasionally needs to be programmed or updated, and it has a mini USB versus a micro USB. The lightest weight computer that I have is a surface device with USB-C ports, and this is what I use to update that piece of equipment. This cable is better than what I was doing before which was getting a USB-C to USB adapter and then a USB to USB mini cable. This way I can keep one cable in my glove box rather than a cable plus an adapter. And it also seems to communicate faster, but that may just be my perception rather than reality .

Cable did not allow me to connect a Mobius camera to my S22 Ultra phone. I tried two different Mobius cameras, and also my Canon camera and none of them connected or were even detected by usb. Maybe bad cable?... not sure. In any case I returned it and am going to try a different vendor cable. Low rating due to no connections.

I had my doubts about whether I could connect old spinning HDDs from my MacBook days to my iPadPro and this cable absolutely does the job for both my G-Drives. Both have firewire and USB2.0 ports. the 250GB model has a port for an external 5V adaptor and was pleased my iPadPro can supply enough juice to keep the drive running. my 1TB model doesn't have a port for an external power supply and confirm it works too! Now, the performance of HDD lags enough I would never connect them to my iPadPro on a daily basis - it is good to pull occasional files off the drive since iPadOS can mount HFS+ formatted drives.
