Why did you choose this product over others?: Fantastic quality - love the Hape brand. Managed to grab this whilst it was on sale, and was blown away by the quality. Solid wood and good interactive design for baby to explore and discover. Love that the rings vary in colour, sound, texture - perfect for sensory exploration.

My son loves this toy. It's well made and very sweet looking

the wooden paint easily wear off as my child chew on them. but as ive read they use non toxic ink. thats the only thing that concern me.

Gave this to our baby as a 7 month old. His face lit up when we gave it to him – priceless. I think he likes frogs! He's still not old enough to stack it, but can certainly pull it apart and play with the rings (or the base bit with the stick or the head). He also likes to watch the beads spinning around. No choking hazards. I would prefer a toy made purely of wood, though the plastic is hard and durable.
