Pasteurized 50/50 Bulk Mushroom Substrate (10 lbs)

Pretty satisfied with these bags. I have used them for cubes and for the notoriously difficult pan cyans and this sub worked great for both and was contam free. I normally make my own substrate but didn’t have time this run so I figured I would try a premade one and was very happy with this product.

I have been using other substrates that are coco core, gypsum, no dung. I gave the 50/50 a try and my mycelium is colonizing the mono tub twice as fast as I am used to!!! This is exciting! I have read bad reviews and those people don't understand that this is REAL FARM COMPOST!!! MOST NUTRITIOUS! The chance of a contaminated bag is higher with high nutrition. On the same note, HIGHER NUTRITION is a key to fast growing,higher yields, and healthier fruit. Haven't had a bad one yet, I'll keep taking my chances!

Very good results using clean technique; no contamination to date. Excellent substrate for dung loving species. Recommended.

What a waste of time. I should have just pressure cooked but I thought since it was pasteurized and it came in a shroom bag that I should be safe from contamination. I had 3 duds with the first run and I gave it the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe l it was my spores that were contaminated, so the second brick run I made sure to do everything in a SAB and still got trichs and lipstick mold. I have never got lipstick mold in my years of growing. I grew this side by side with another coco coir medium which did perfectly fine and I’m on my 3rd flush so I know it’s not bad air. After the first run, I spent so much time trying to make sure everything was sterile and it’s definitely this product. Maybe these aren’t fresh but if you have these, don’t be like me, just pressure cook them anyway. Just going to make my own next time.

Quality mushroom substrate, would definitely recommend pressure cooking these. I have had 1 bag contaminated. All my other purchases from Out Grow have been perfect except for 1 of these bags

Bought a few time from here. They ship fast, Package well, and have delivered a quality product every time. Have had no issues and excellent results.

Definitely pasteurized, no contamination. Feel like I maybe was given casing layer material.....had great growth gallons worth added to this substrate and growth would not transfer into this substrate. Also pretty spending for manure, coir vermiculite caso etc
