Sea Eagle Resolved the Issue
I wanted to provide an update to this posting. Sea Eagle reached out and we discussed and agreed upon a reasonable solution. I want to thank them for contacting me and being proactive. Having a personal conversation with this company shows they have their customers' interests at the forefront. They were kind and I appreciate their response. I own a Sea Eagle kayak and bought this sail. The kayak initially seemed to be well built but the adhesive soon decayed and failed. The adhesive literally dried out and flaked off revealing gaps between seams. This should not happen. I reached out to Sea Eagle and their initial response was to not repair it because it will keep happening. I asked if I should expect seam failure as part of the experience and heard nothing back.

Great little sail if you don't mind getting holes in your inflatable
This could have been a five star review. I am using the sail with a 15 ft Aquaglide Chelan. On such a long boat the sail works pretty well: It is quickly set up when you are goin downwind and quickly stowed away when the wind or course changes - I don't even need to disconnect and fold the tubes. It only works downwind in a range of maybe 45 degrees, but that's ok. With some tinkering it has potential for sailing halfwind or even upwind if rigged as a crab claw sail. The recommended way to fasten the sail is not ideal: It is better not to lead the cord through the open triangle between sail and joint but rather leave it fixed at the boat and just slip the tubes under it before opening the sail - also a clasp allowing to adjust the cord length would have been very helpful. Btw. the hook attached to the cord that comes with the sail is not solid enough. But all that is easy to fix and I was perfectly happy with this sail until I discovered two small holes in my brand new 1100$ boat, just where the sail was set up. Closer inspection showed that the bolt joining the two tubes has sharp edges and corners. It hasn't any kind of cover. I now embedded it in hot glue and put some duct tape over it to prevent further damage. I find this incredibly thoughtless, especially as this is advertised as sail for inflatable boats.

Worked great for me
I bought this for my Ocean Kayak Malibu 2 XL. This past weekend, I took the quicksail out with me. I paddled against the wind for about 1.5 hours and then set up the quicksail to take me back. It worked amazingly well and had me clipping along almost at the same speed as a trolling motor—sometimes even faster. In a few spots, the wind died down or reversed and the sail did become a bit unwieldy as nothing stops it from falling back on you... but as soon as the wind picked up again, it self corrected and I was on my way again. A second hook on the rope would have pushed my rating up a bit and maybe a little more thought into how the sail doesn't collapse when the wind dies. But overall, I'm glad I bought this and will be taking it with me every time I go ocean kayaking.

Works
The most important thing is this. I look so very cool using the sail.

More Fun
The sail adds another level of fun to the kayaking experience. I did have to rig up a mechanism to secure my seat because my kayak did not have midship tiedowns., but it all worked out well.

For SE 370 there are no hooks where to tie the sail. Any advise will be appreciated to see how to use without hooks.

This didn’t come with the right set up for my kayak. Have to return.
