She passed the SPHR exam using this book as a study guide/supplement to continuing education classes. My current employee is going to sit for the PHR exam and is following the same chapter-by-chapter and case study methodology to prepare and it is proving equally as beneficial in helping to absorb information. As a 30-year HR professional I also know of other colleagues who have used this book over the years to prep for their exams and it helped them to pass their exams. I find this a valuable resource for exam prep as well as a good desk reference for HR professionals. I highly recommend it. Great contemporary textbook
I really enjoyed this text. The book references cases from current affairs so the events are relatable and reflect the current climate of the workplace. This text integrates with the MindTap resources in the Cengage website so the instructor can assign lessons to really aid your learning. I enjoyed studying with MindTap.

Book came in pretty bad shape
The book has a chunk out of the front, which is a little annoying when holding, but still readable. Has a few stains. It will do!
