Mathilda (Natalie Portman) is only 12 years old, but is already familiar with the dark side of life: her abusive father stores drugs for corrupt police officers, and her mother neglects her. When her family is murdered by crooked DEA agent Stansfield (Gary Oldman), Mathilda joins forces with a reluctant Leon to learn his deadly trade and avenge her family's deaths. Stunning 4K UHD release of a great film
Leon is one of my all time favorite movies and i'm glad that it looks absolutely stunning on this 4K disk. Great film and a terrific 4K release. A must own for fans of the film.

Classic movie now in great 4k detail!
One of my favourite movies, with amazing performances from Gary Oldman, a young Natalie Portman (her best acting role in her whole career in my opinion), and Jean Reno as Leon the hitman/cleaner. Beautifully shot with some great action scenes. If you like Luc Besson movies than this is one that you must have in your collection! Stunning 4k detail and also a great soundtrack that suits this movie perfectly. Simply put... Buy this movie now and add it to your collection!

Must have
I didn't think the 4k was anything special... but I have heard it really is a state of the art transfer. Probably I got immersed in the movie and forgot to leave my "critical hi-res" eye switched on. Anyway we all know the film is iconic.. a real masterpiece with amazing performances by Jean Reno, Gary Oldman, and of course Natalie Portman... but hey even the minor roles are played to perfection. One of the best films ever made... and if you haven't seen it, you're missing out. By all means give it a miss if you don't like cold blooded Assassins.
