This is a comprehensive control unit for HVAC , with addition of wireless thermostats, etc. It is pretty easy to complete an installation, assuming reasonable understanding of the HVAC unit it is being asked to control. The damper controls work well, and stages of HVAC work well too. Adding wireless accessories is easy. Set for close tolerance, it is able to keep temperatures right on settings. This is one where you really do need to read the installation manuals and follow them step by step. Wiring took several hours, but then add some time for programming the thermostats, etc. Package kit is useful, then pick your desired thermostats.

I love the push in wire connections -- no screwing them down -- each spot can handle two wires. I replaced a "Honeywell Total Zone Control Panel TZ-4" with this for 4 zones (simple a/c and gas furnace setup). Labeling all the wires before disconnecting the old panel was critical and time consuming. Take a lot of pictures and video before you start taking anything apart. The previous install sometimes had wire colors together that didn't match and must be kept together so you put them together on the new panel correctly. Then I referenced the dip switches on the old panel for the LCD software settings on the new panel. Comparing the old panel and its manual with the new panel and its manual allowed me get the settings matching.

Kinda works. The push in style "quick connectors" are an absolute nightmare. They don't make or hold good connection. They are very delicate. Way faster and more secure to use screw terminals. The claim that these save time is by some ignoramus engineer that doesn't work in the field for sure.

Works good but, it only lasted 20 MONTHS . Be careful no factory warranty. The supplier is not a Honeywell Dealer and offered no support. I will be replacing this unit with another brand that works just as well and is much cheaper.

Good product. Easy to use and install Works well with my Trane XV95 and XL16i heat pump dual fuel setup. Also working with my ECOBEE thermostats.
