This is a must have book if you are studying marine engineering it certainly helped me get through my course which I have recently qualified from. I would certainly recommend this to anyone it gives information in a clearer way than most I have found.

An excellent beginners guide to start out. Highly recommended.

I bought this book thinking it would be about ship and ship component design. It is not. However I learned a lot about the systems commonly present in ships so it worked out. Diagrams in the book are good and the text is written in English not Professor so that's nice.
