works great!
purchased to solder some electronics. the iron itself felt a little cheap but it heats up super quick and works like a charm. tin is decent quality as well

the dial is hard to read and I have no idea how accurate the tempratures are.
For as little as I solder on small intricate components it got the job done. Not a bad value. Would not recommend for those that use this regularly.

Great For Begginers
The kit waws very good, unfortunately it was missing a few items but regardless of that small issue everything else that was included seemed to be solid quality and the included little box case could come in clutch for carrying it around. Solid kit would recommend for people that need a full setup!

Very satisfied
This replaced my dying Weller. I hope it lasts b/c I really like this iron. It's lightweight, has a slim build and sits well in-hand, LED's can be on or off during use, the stand is actually balanced and doesn't topple over when used (even w/o using the sticky pad on bottom), decent tip selection, sleeve/collar tip retention design works well and is secure, it gets to temp very quickly... They even give you a Velcro wrap for the cord. They thought of everything as far as i can tell after about 6 hours of use @550*. Would definitely buy again.

Cheap quality
This is cheap quality and I wish I bought a better one. It does not seem to heat up metal enough to melt the solder well, the short cord is ackward and the stand tips over.

Pretty good kit for easy jobs
This is probably a good kit for the beginner. I have no soldering experience but I’ve seen some vids so I bought this cheap kit. It has the flux, wire, mat, sucker, pretty good deal. My biggest issue is probably the fact that the tip of the tip doesn’t really get at hot as the sides of the tip. This leads to awkward iron placement and the potential to accidentally burn something. But so far I’ve fixed a switch mechanism and changed some controller switches, so I can’t complain too much until I start fixing stuff that needs a lot more reliable tip heating.
