These snips have worked well for me. I have been mostly cutting 0.040 aluminum with no issues.

I purchased these for cutting ductwork and love them. They cut well, the ruler is handy for cutting the little triangles off (for folding). Of note, the handles unlock if you squeeze them (under most circumstances this is quite convenient) however if you intend to use a tool bag, be careful I have had the handles unlock on me when trying to stick them in my bag which can be annoying.

These snips paid for them selves when installing our new Cloths Dryer. The Right and Left side snips where a game changer and made duct work simple. A must for any type of metal duct jobs. Saved me so much time!

Se sienten muy bien. Corta a la primera y se ven de muy buena calidad. En lo personal, corto fleje metálico templado y láminas delgadas con ellas y hasta ahora ningún problema. Un poco más caras que marcas más comerciales pero vale la pena.

I used to have a set of stanley fatmax snips that were identical to these (even the same model# laser etched onto them) and they were my favorite snips. Stanley stopped making them and I have been using inferior snips ever since... until now! I had no idea craftsman made these snips now. They are identical to my old stanleys, except the grips have been updated to match craftsmans branding. What I like about these snips is the locking tab is oriented so that they don't spring open every time you put them in your bag or pouch. These (and my old stanleys) are the only snips that i found that have the locking tab placed that way. The grips are also great because your hand will naturally sit higher up for more precision and they made the grips to accommodate that while also giving a further back higher leverage position. The markings on the end come in handy sometimes but not really a necessity. As far as cutting, i find they cut great.
