Decent quality, but some minor issues
I've had these gloves for over a month now, and here are my thoughts:The Good-The gloves are comfortable and fit snugly on my hand. They do run a bit small, so if you're on the edge of sizes or don't like tight gloves then bump up one size. The velcro is just sufficient to keep them on your hands without being an annoyingly large feature, although I'm not sure they'll stand the test of time. These gloves also have a decent amount of padding (more than my last pair). I ride ~40 miles at a time and I never have problems with my hands hurting. The Bad-The padding appears to be in the wrong place, at least for the way I typically ride. I'm a relatively aggressive rider, and the padding down the outside of my palm doesn't serve much of a purpose for me. The fingers are also cut a little long for what I'm used to (they almost reach my knuckle); I'm getting used to it, but at first it felt a little funny. Last, the reason these got 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is because they soak up sweat like it's their job. The first few rides I went on, the gloves were soaked about 30 minutes in (waaay faster than my previous set). Granted, I live in Arizona so they're definitely being put to the test here, but the gloves generally absorb water rather than whisk it away. The padding in the gloves will stay wet for over 12 hours after my ride unless I actively dry them somehow. That being said, I think this will become less of an issue as the padding wears in a bit.Overall-Gloves are like shoes: everyone is going to have differences of opinion on which ones are most comfortable and fit them the best. I think these are designed for a broad audience and are relatively well constructed. At $30 they're probably worth the money, but I'm not sure how much of a benefit they provide over cheaper gloves.

These are Outstanding Quality
These are as good a quality glove as you would ever want. I have two pair, black and white. I would highly recommend any of the gloves with the white leather because the black does stain your hands. I've not washed the black ones yet, and that may solve the problem, but I wore them on a week long trek across Oklahoma and my hands were black after each day. It really did not get better throughout the week. The white gloves have been outstanding and both have great padding in the right places. I have seen some reviews that say to buy one size larger, I disagree. I usually wear a med, and stuck with that size with these. Although a bit tight when I put them on, they fit perfectly after a few min on the bike. If you are used to Pearl Izumi gloves, you will find that the fingers on the Giros are just a tad longer. I thought this might be a problem when I first put them on, but I don't even notice it now. All in all a really good glove with quality leather for a great price. You can't go wrong with these. I suspect I will easily get a couple of seasons out of them, but I would honestly think it will be more.

So when looking around I have a tough time finding a good pair I liked
Bought this to replace my 20 year old fingerless gloves that started to fall apart. For some reason they don't make stronger leather palmed fingerless gloves as much as they used to. So when looking around I have a tough time finding a good pair I liked, finally after searching around it came down to this and the Pearl izumi Pittards leather palmed glove. After having tried both I must say that Giro is onto something here. Both modes from Pearl Izumi and Giro has a easy remove feature, but after trying the gloves out, the Giro tabs on the middle and 4th fingers were much easier to use than any other quick removal system I used. The leather and padding is not quite as thick as my 20 year old Velo gloves, but by todays standards its pretty good and absorbs some of the harshness from rough roads coming through the handlebars. The small fit my hands well and snug so having the easy removal system makes it all the better.

Mine fit true to size...
I ordered Extra Large based on advice from reviewers, but I shouldn't have. I have worn Large in other gloves (Nashbar & Performance, and probably others) and should have ordered a Large in these Monacos. The gloves are very nice. The leather is great, and so soft that the extra leather under the fingers just rolls up or folds under (here and there--thumb especially) as I ride without causing any problem. The padding placement works well despite the finger sizing issue, because the palm/hand fit is OK with the velcro closure's two parts exactly matched (no under- or over-lap). Just a couple of hundred miles of warm to hot riding so far. I throw them in the washer (cold) and air dry after each ride and they are doing fine; leather stays soft. No shrinkage anywhere, so fingers will stay a bit large. I recommend them.

Good gloves, but seam tearing after 2 rides
I bought a pair of Monaco road gloves after good experience and durability from Giro Bravo gloves. I've been wearing the Bravo gloves for more than a year with no problems and great fit, but with the Bravo gloves, my hands were wearing out about 40 miles into rides. I wanted something with more padding. The purchase decision was based on my trust in the brand. I do like the gloves. I rode 60 miles last week, and my hands felt great. I like the pads, thickness of the pads and placement. They fit great and I like the feel, but one of the seams between fingers is tearing after just 2 rides with the new gloves. They're still usable, and I plan to continue wearing them, but I expected better durability.

Great gloves!
Comfortable and reasonably padded. A little difficult to remove - a loop of material to assist with this would be a good idea. Quite expensive for what they are, but recommended.

Excellent
This is the third pair of gloves I have used this summer. The other pairs I have used were cheaper, and that proved not to be economical as the build quality was poor and they needed replacing. I do cycle at least 70 miles a week, but I kind of expect gloves to last more than a few weeks. These are well made and superbly comfortable, hopefully I have found a pair of gloves that will last years rather than weeks.Really very happy, so happy that I wrote this review, the first I have ever done on Amazon.

Quality Cycling Mitts
Gloves were comfortable from the moment I first used them. Absolutely excellent quality leather pittards palms and good padding. Having used many other types of glove including Endura FS260 which i really rated I was shocked by how good the Giros are in comparison. The finger pulls make it very easy to get the gloves off. Definitely recommended.

great gloves
a really great pair of cycling gloves. Fit snuggly and well cushioned with super responsive grip. Delivered fast and would use this company again. I believe they will last longer thsn some other gloves bought in the past so this would offset the concern of the purchase price.

Great Gloves
Great looking gloves that fit really nicely - choose the size you think you are, you don't have to worry about them being too big or small. Only worn twice so far (both times on 30+ mile rides) and seem very comfortable. Now just waiting for the weather to warm up again so that my winter kit can be put away.
