Nice and cheap barcode scanner
So i needed this because my brand new iphone 14 can't see up close in the Amazon seller app or on ebay and all of my barcodes were fuzzy. This little thing was only a few dollars, so i thought i'd give it a try. It works quite well -- the provided manual gives you EVERYTHING you need to make this scanner work like you need it to. You can set it to do carriage returns, power off times, buzz vs beep or both. It's very well laid out and easy to reprogram this scanner to do exactly what you need. The scanner itself is great - just have to be directly in front of the barcode, but it's got a good strong laser and is able to penerate clear bags, some glass etc. I'm enjoying the heck out of it as am able to scan faster than i was before.

Very good scanner
My initial review, I'll add more 6 months from now; Overall *very* good scanner. Does it scan from longer distances, no 2 to 16 inches it works great do the batteries last a week. No if you're doing non stop scanning you'll need to recharge after about 4-5 hours. But it works great. Think of the size of the thing. Not enough room to put huge batteries in it. It reads all barcodes and QR codes and reads them quickly it also reads 'on screen'. And it actually reads better than my Zebra DS22's. and has 4 ways to connect! onboard bluetooth, dongle bluetooth, 2.4 wireless, corded. Pretty impressive for something so small. After I've used for some time I'll update here. But for now, it's a great product. Especially if you're not a heavy scanner.

Great portable scanner
Great barcode reader with a few small gripes. I bought it to keep in my backpack and use to submit inventory to LightSpeed POS at multiple stores via my iPad. It works perfectly for what it’s designed to do. Set up is slightly annoying having to scan barcodes to put it in and out of pairing mode when I want to pair it to different iPads instead of just holding down a pair button like was on past scanners I’ve used. Biggest gripe is that it only takes one click of the relatively large easy to press button to turn it on. Carrying it in my backpack, it’s very often pressed and having the battery drain while my backpack beeps at random times. Would have been a 5 star review if the turn in sequence was something like “hold button for 5 seconds”.

Can't scan, won't scan, but it can be used as a flashlight instead.
Really liked the form factor for this scanner, but it has three major flaws. One: it is bright. Could literally hold the button and this would just be a regular flashlight with a little optical/laser reader of some sort. Could probably be used as some sort of self-defense device if the reader was laser based along with the flashlight. Two: turning off the light means it can't read ANY barcodes. There's a way to turn off the light by finding the online manual for an older revision of this device. However, doing so means losing the scanning ability in dimmer rooms or places with a little less light. I'm not talking about a pitch black room, but if there's any chance of being on the wrong side of the room where something is partially casting a shadow; good luck scanning anything in this mode. Three: just refuses to scan even with the flashlight mode is turned on. I think each attempt took maybe 3-7 times just to get a scan. I find that I have to hold the scanner maybe 5-8 inches away from a barcode before it scans (can't be too close) and sometimes I have to hold down the button until it reads something (most times it won't). However, I needed this device to scan every time on good barcodes no matter how close I got to the barcode. The only saving graces for this scanner was that it was very small, it didn't need much setup, and would sometime scan digital barcodes on monitors/phone screens (detection was slightly better than on physical barcodes, but still needed distance). I just wished it worked better than it did.

LOVE THIS
This has been a game charger! I had a wireless hand scanner gun, but moving around I dropped it a lot since there's not a way to really attach it easily on a mobile cart and I already have a walkie holster on me so adding another holster would not be practical. I got this thing and it is so small, light, and easy to use. It comes with a manual that you can change settings easily by scanning a feature (i.e. if you want it to delay the sleep from 30 seconds to one minute - scan a barcode from the manual, wait a moment, then it's done). I have charged it for a day and have yet to restart it for the last three days so I'm happy with the battery life so far. There is a lanyard loop included that I attached to my walkie holster so I never have to worry about it getting lost or misplaced. It is very easy to set up and use, zero complaints for less than $40. I love this thing!

A bit finicky, but OK.
A neat idea, but overall it only works OK. It's a bit finicky to scan with. Takes a couple of tries to scan a code. Part of this is that the aiming laser is a square and I am trying to scan 1D barcodes. There isn't a nice laser line that you can line up on the code. Setup takes a bit. Be sure to disable barcode types that you don't need. I like that it is Bluetooth. Very easy to connect. Shows up as a keyboard and even sends a carriage return at the end of each code. I'm also glad the USB is type C, so I don't have to carry around a separate charger for it, my tablet and phone chargers work great. I wish it scanned a bit quicker, but it's good enough for applications where speed doesn't matter.

Works well, keeps a charge, just what I needed!
Title says it all. Works with my square app for easier checkout at craft shows, which is all I could ever hope it would do for me. Also, the way it works with my PC makes me think it would also be great for taking inventory, though I haven't tried that yet. Love how long it stays charged.

You get what you paid for I guess. It doesn’t read the barcodes or QR codes as quick as other brand I’ve owned. Also keep losing connection with my phone. I’m returning the product.
