Eye Cream

As I get older I have found myself facing more and more fine lines, wrinkles, and puffy eyes with dark circles. I never get enough sleep, and on the days when I really had bad sleep I wake up with dark circles that are hard to hide. I desperately needed a good eye cream to help with this and the fine lines I am getting, but haven't had luck with the ones I have tried so far. I have now been using this for almost 3 weeks and while it is not my miracle moisturizer, it is a HUGE help. I put this on first thing in the morning after my shower, go get some coffee to drink, then add my regular moisturizer before I do any makeup. Usually by the time I get to putting my make up on, the dark circles are faded away and the puffiness is almost gone. I can tell which days I miss, though. If I don't use it, my eyes have a tired look to them, so it must be doing something. I still see my fine lines around the edges, but love how soothing this feels on my skin and how cool it is when I apply it. The scent is light and not overwhelming at all, fading away quickly as it absorbs. I am left with no greasy residue, though I do notice if I don't use a primer for my eye makeup it will end up smudged. In addition to all of this, I have super sensitive skin. This hasn't had any adverse effect on my skin in the least. No redness, no irritation, no breakouts, nothing. I am very pleased with this since it is actually helping, unlike the others I have used in the past. Definitely something I recommend.

(My wife is writing this review, as I ordered the eye cream for her at her request.) This is my second order of this eye cream. I have found it to be a good product at a reasonable price. My primary objection to other eye creams is that it is impossible to get all of it out of whatever type of container it is in. That was not a problem with my previous order of Life Essentials Eye Cream. The new order came in a different container, so I'll have to wait to see if the entire container is still usable. The cream feels good, and helps tighten the delicate skin beneath my eyes. You can spend as much money as you want on eye creams--the prices range from cheap to mind-boggling. I find that this product works as well as any I have tried.

If I could give 3.5 stars I would. First of all the eye cream itself is nice, absorbs quick, no crazy scent, leaves surrounding skin soft, plus it's cruelty free!I just spent too much time trying to get the eye cream to come up to the pump bottle - either it gives so much that I have enough cream for my entire face, or I can vigorously pump 100 times (yes I counted) and nothing comes up so I end up opening the bottle to get at the goods. I only started using this in June and I'm almost out of it. Eye creams come best in jars where you can use every bit which will not be the case possible with this since the neck will be too narrow.All that said, I do like the cream and if it came in a different applicator I would buy it. Since using too much/spend too much time to get to use it at times which equals waste, it's not worth it for the value so will be trying other cruelty free eye creams as well!

I almost gave it a 4 star, which I'll explain at the end, but it's now a solid 5 star.I get geeky about skincare products. As I've aged, now in my late 50's, with sun damaged skin from growing up in Hawaii plus loving the outdoors, I have to spend a lot on skin care products.For years I bought the top brands, but began to wonder:1. are these actually good for my skin, and2. are these really as effective as something that would cost much less...?So, I run experiments with new skin care products, where I use one product on 1/2 my face and compare it to the one I'd been using on the other half of my face. Same thing with eye creams. For many months now I've tried Life Essentials eye cream under one eye and my favorite to date, a leading expensive brand you can buy at cosmetic counters of department stores under the other eye.After many months of comparing those two, the Life Essentials Eye Cream is better. Continuing the experiment, I switched eyes and began using another natural under eye serum from Amazon. You know how sometimes one eye or area of skin has more issues than the other, (at least that's the case with my wrinkles and dark circles :-)), so I tried LE's eye cream under the opposite eye and the new one under the other. Again, Life Essential's Eye Cream is winning, hands down.The other advantages to LEEC's:* It lasts a LONG time* It costs about 1/4 that of my original highly touted eye cream (think glossy magazines ads, etc)* It lasts longer—a lot longer—than the other because a little goes a very long way* It's all natural, organic ingredients that I feel good about putting on my skinI also love that it's a small family owned company creating products good for us.The ONLY thing wrong has been remedied. The pump dispenser doesn't work. No problem, I've been using it by opening the cap and placing a dab on clean fingers from the pump straw. But, I did contact the owners and they replied that they've had some issues with a few, and subsequently, are changing pump suppliers for future products, AND, they sent a replacement for free. So, great product, great company!

I've had serious dark circles under my eyes since my early 50's. Tried many products, some expensive and some less so.This cream is fading those dark circles and moisturizing the under eye area at the same time. Don't expect results over night. There is no miracle cure. At 76 years young, I am thankful that the racoon eyes are becoming a problem of the past. I like the bottle and the way the product comes out just a tiny bit at the time. I will continue to use this great cream. Sorry. I'm old so don't do videos or text. Don't even have a cell phone except for emergencies and it stays in the car.
