Focusrite Scarlett Solo Studio (3rd Gen) USB Audio Interface and Recording Bundle

I wanted to start recording some music at home - basic vocal and acoustic guitar, and this product was the perfect buy for me. This is great bang for the buck, and especially for beginners like me, I didn't have to think about what gear to get. This is an all in one package - mic, mic cable, interface, software (comes with Ableton Live lite and Pro Tools first). If you have a guitar and a laptop you are good to go. You might want to buy a mic stand, a pop filter and a guitar lead cable in addition too. If you want to record acoustic guitar through a different mic, the Scarlett 2i2 bundle is the product you should go for, and you'll also need to buy an additional mic. Overall, very adequate sound quality at the cheapest price for beginners. Got me to play, song and record regularly - 10/10

Focusrite make high end audio for recording professionals. This is an entry level kit. The setup is fairly simple. I literally plugged it in, used Reaper to record on a MacBook Pro. Didn't even have to install any software to get started. Not sure what some previous reviewer was complaining about. I have recorded vocals, guitars. It is pretty decent. The headphone are good. There is some spill onto the microphones, but at this price range it can be forgiven . In the past I have had to buy each separately, but having all there in a neat affordable package is awesome. Perfect for Youtubers, singer songwriters, Podcasts, Voice over artists - Highly recommended.

I'm a complete noob. So setting things up took a while since I use a basic PC and I had issues because not all the softwares that come with this set are compatible with my system. So setting up took a while. And then it was noisy I realised. A friend of mine checked everything and told me the issue was the mic's. So I got a replacement. And since the softwares were already set up when I bought it the first time, all I needed to do the second time around was hook everything up to the PC and I was good to go. There is no defect in this one, and it records such clean sound. Again, I'm a noob, and I'm unaware of all the cooler stuff out there. But I do know that this is a great studio set for this deal, and I'd 100% recommend.

An amazing product...quality is wonderful! Gen 3 has a compact audio inerface which also suits portability. The Mic is also works pretty well...captures the minutest of sounds..the audio interface has air functionality which enables a clearer recording. The headphones are exquisite...high mids and low are perfect for mixing. The studio does not offer effects in monitor while recording...also comes with a free Pro Tools First. In all in an afordable price it is great for use at home especially for beginners.

The first impression after unpacking and trying to use the product was horrible. I infact thought that I wasted my 19000rs. Reason, the softwares bundled with product was not at all user friendly for a user who wanted to record songs. If I have to use that software and record my songs like I do in smule I should atleast spend an year to learn the software. That's when a small cable came for my rescue. Since the cable provided with product was one side normal USB and other side mobile C port USB I was unable to connect with my mobile. So I bought another cable from Amazon which has both side USB C port. After receiving cable I connected device to my mobile. Nothing happened. I was little sad. Then I remembered about OTG option in phone and enabled it by going to settings. Vola, the device got powered on. I opened smule and it was recording in crystal clear clarity. So if you are singer who wanted to connect this to your mobile and record using smule or any similar app, get a USB C to USB C port cable so that you can use this. In would recommend Focusrite itself to provide the cable so that that will help buyers..

I was looking to buy this product from a long time, but now i got it at the price of 21000 (little overpriced) but I'm happy with the performance, stable, premium and great performance

Very nice combo for home studio. I wasn’t expecting this recording quality. It’s way better than what I was expected. Easy to operate. Software and plugins are addons, but they are lite versions. Overall it’s a value for money product.

La carte son : On sent la qualité du produit, elle est en aluminium et agréable au toucher. Le truc est pratique, c'est intuitif pour les nullos comme moi qui connaissent rien à la musique. Le bouton du gain clignote en rouge quand ça sature et en vert quand le son est bon. C'est sympathique. Et il y a un bouton magique "air" qui rend la voix plus cristalline (je sais pas ce que ça veut dire, mais ça rend bien). Le micro : Le son est très quali, après je suis pas ingé son. Pensez à prévoir un support pour tenir le micro (araignée, c'est mieux). Sinon vous le posez sur le bureau, et il tombe, et ça fait du bruit, et ça casse, et c'est chiant. Le casque : C'est probablement le point faible du pack. Le son est d'assez bonne qualité (ça manque un peu de basses). Il est léger car en plastique mais il fait mal aux oreilles après quelques heures d'utilisation. Un peu chiant. Mais pour le prix du truc je vais pas me plaindre. Les logiciels : On a un accès gratuit à Ableton Live Lite (et d'autres trucs). Très cool. Après, on est limité à 8 tracks pour le mix. C'est parfois léger pour faire un joli layering mais ça suffit largement la plupart du temps. Globalement, je trouve que le rapport qualité-prix est très cool. Salut.

Got it on Black Friday for $175, such a steal for what it includes. Focusrite is a top of the line audio comapny and the 3 things in this bundle are more than enough for any aspiring musician to get started. The hub has an XLR and Line in, as well as direct monitoring for 1/4in headphones. I found that the headphones do tend to get a bit hot to use because of the closed back and leather design, but the sound quality and isolation is great, and there is more than adequate padding. Plus the ultra smooth adjustability is so good I wish all headphones had them. The mic is a good quality XLR unidirectional condenser mic, pair it with a pop filter and shock stand, and you've got yourself a fully functional set up now ready to record with the DAW of your choice. Focusrite's software that's included with the bundle is also super helpful for monitoring and making sure everything is working correctly, plus it even includes 3 free months of Pro Tools Artist, and one month of Pro Tools First, along with Avid Link, all the Plugins, and Autotune Ultimate. Overall for anyone starting out or looking to upgrade from significantly older gear, this is gonna be like the best option.
