It has music and tabs (even if you can only read tabs, you should get the idea of the tempos from the music.) I know you can get a lot of free tabs for the band's music but there are two compelling reasons why this book is a good investment: 1) Most tab sights do not tab out the all the solos the Anderson and company incorporate. For example I can find lots of tabs and chord progressions for Locomotive Breath, but not so easy to find the piano/guitar duet in the intro which may be the most beautiful and challenging part of the song. It's all here! 2) Karma, this is copyrighted materials and the artists should get their due. There is one thing you should know, however. This is a GUITAR book, which means that all the songs, all the solos (whether they were performed by flute or piano) are arranged for a guitar player. So if you are looking to play said duet with your piano buddy, it will take a bit of time to figure out who is to play which part, and they will have to infer their bass clef part from the chord progression (a slight fake.) But this is a great book for the guitar! Review: Jethro Tull is one of my favorite bands so I thought it would be pretty cool ... - I bought this for my daughter, who is learning to play guitar. My son plays flute and bass and I'd already gotten him the Tull book for flute. Jethro Tull is one of my favorite bands so I thought it would be pretty cool to learn some of their songs to play with my kids. From what I can tell, this book looks very well done. The song selection is pretty good; there are some I wish were included but Tull has a huge library and you can't have them all, I guess. Time to play!

Very clear tabs along with the some of the songs that required a capo.
I liked the clear tabulature which also included the musical notation for the treble clef. Also, some of the songs included the notes and tabs for the flute part.

Same as Always These Tab Books
As always with these tab books are some missing parts or ways to play are not always possible the way written out. Thick As A Brick is cut version and here again missing some parts. But you will get extremely close to recording if you can adjust.

Just make shure you have a capo and a metronome.
Lots of akward time signatures (5/4, 12/8 to name a few) and quite a few songs (Aqualung, Locomotive Breath to name a couple) need a capo for the acousic part ( Which I learned the hard way)

Great music book for guitar tablature
I gave the gift to my Dad, and he really appreciated the book for the guitar tablature that it had. I am glad I bought the book for him.

Difficult and poorly presented.
Difficult and poorly presented. Seems to be a difficult presentation for acoustc guitar. I put this one on the bottom of the pile.
