Best c02 pistol
In my opinion the best bb gun made, I had mine for 2 years and I used it like every day and it worked great, eventually the seal broke in it tho an this was like 9 months ago, all in all an amazing c02 pistol and is great for whatever you're trying to do whether it's target practice, stopping a pest an or a home intruder. Got a great sight an on a full c02 canister it definitely very powerful it shoots fast asl. Definitely a good pricing for this an would buy again.

Fantastic so far!
Bought the Umarex XBG .177 for my 12 year old grandson for Christmas. I can say that it shoots great and he loves it. It holds 19 BB's per magazine and we are seeing about 7 to 8 magazines per C02 cartridge. It has plenty of power and will knock 12 oz cans off a ledge easily. It looks real and has a metal magazine. My younger grandson which is 8 can shoot it as well. The only negative we can think of is the trigger pull is really long. The sights are nice, easy to see and true. He is having a blast with it. I would recommend this particular model to anyone who wants to teach children how to shoot.

Lotta plinking fun for not much $$$
Not the most accurate BB pistol out there but definitely good enough for a basic entry level air gun. A few dabs of bright orange nail polish on the sights made them much more visible. The 19 round metal magazine is a much appreciated convenience and is easy to load. Good for around 25’ but I expect the accuracy to drop off much further than that. Heck of a lot cheaper than sending live rounds down range for those days when you want to practice but don’t feel like heading for your range.

Barely used before leaking co² cartridges empty before shooting
I would have given it more stars. However after using it rather lightly I'd say. Have used 6 co² cartridges total. It will no longer accept co² cartridges? I followed directions putting a drop of oil on the top of the cartrige when changing the cartridges. Bought the same brand cartridges as the BB gun. Unfortunately now it blows the co² cartridges empty. They will no longer seal when changing. The gun lasted less than 2 months. Leaving me with co² cartridges i can't use and more than a thousand BB's left over. The return window past by less than 3 weeks ago. The pistol didn't last 2 months of very light usage. Save your money buy a different brand.

Umarex XBG .177 BB Gun: Affordable Choice for Sight Practice and Casual Shooting
The Umarex XBG .177 Caliber BB Gun Air Pistol is a budget-friendly CO₂-powered air pistol aimed at beginners and casual shooters. Below is a critical review that breaks down its build quality, performance, accuracy, ease of use, and overall value. 1. Build Quality and Design Pros: The XBG is crafted with a high-impact polymer frame, making it lightweight and easy to carry for extended periods. Its compact design is ergonomic, with a grip that fits comfortably in most hands. Cons: While the light weight might be comfortable, it can work against users, as the lack of heft makes it difficult to keep steady during firing, which can amplify issues with trigger control. The build can feel toy-like due to the plastic body, and the absence of a metal slide or blowback action might detract from the realism expected by some users. 2. Performance and Power Pros: Powered by a 12-gram CO₂ cartridge, the XBG offers a decent velocity of up to 410 FPS, enough for close-range target shooting. It’s capable of semi-automatic firing, allowing users to shoot as fast as they can pull the trigger, making it enjoyable for backyard plinking. Cons: The lightweight build amplifies the long trigger pull, which can feel stiff and challenging to control, especially for new shooters. Over time, the trigger pull can become tiring, and CO₂ efficiency tends to drop quickly, especially with rapid firing. This, along with the drop in CO₂ performance in cooler temperatures, can make it inconsistent over long shooting sessions. 3. Accuracy Pros: The XBG performs well within a short range (10-15 yards), with fixed sights that are effective for close-range targeting. For basic shooting or plinking, it’s accurate enough to keep groupings relatively tight. Cons: Due to its light build, it can be hard to stabilize, which affects shot consistency. The long and somewhat heavy trigger pull also impacts accuracy, as it can cause unintentional shifts just before firing. Beyond close range, accuracy diminishes, and the fixed sights do not allow for adjustments, which limits the ability to fine-tune your aim. The lack of a rifled barrel further hinders precision. 4. Ease of Use and Handling Pros: The XBG is straightforward to use, making it ideal for beginners. Loading the 19-round magazine and inserting the CO₂ cartridge are easy processes, and the trigger mechanism is simple to understand. Cons: The long trigger pull is a significant drawback, especially for those who prioritize ease of handling and smooth shooting. The heavier pull makes it challenging to fire accurately without pulling the gun off target. Combined with its low weight, this can lead to a frustrating shooting experience for users who are less accustomed to trigger control. 5. Maintenance and CO₂ Efficiency Pros: Maintenance requirements are minimal, with only occasional cleaning and lubrication necessary to keep the pistol functioning well. The fixed slide and lack of blowback reduce internal wear, which helps with durability. Cons: The CO₂ cartridge provides limited shots before power starts to wane, especially if you shoot rapidly. The lightweight build and long trigger pull also mean you may end up using more CO₂ cartridges than expected, as it’s easy to fire off rounds quickly while adjusting to the trigger pull. 6. Value for Money Pros: The XBG is very affordable, making it accessible for first-time buyers and those seeking a basic, fun plinking pistol. It’s a reasonable option for casual shooting without a significant investment, and the 410 FPS velocity is respectable for its price. Cons: For those looking for realism, durability, or a more comfortable shooting experience, the XBG’s limitations in weight, trigger control, and accuracy may feel like compromises. It lacks some of the features found in slightly higher-end models, so while it’s budget-friendly, it may not meet the expectations of users with more experience or needs for training. Final Verdict The Umarex XBG .177 Caliber BB Gun Air Pistol is a fun, lightweight option for casual shooters and beginners. It’s easy to operate and budget-friendly, making it suitable for backyard target practice. However, the lightweight, stiff, and long trigger pull and lack of advanced features might make it feel lacking to those who want a more realistic or high-performance air pistol.

Enjoyable
Fun, fun, fun. Not the most accurate bb gun I have shot. But one of the most fun. Bought extra mags and this bb gun can mag dump with the best of em.😉 I don’t think I’d use it for anything more than spraying targets at close range. At 25 ft a mag full looks like a shotgun pattern. About a foot and a half spread. At 10 foot a mag dump shreds about an inch size hole. I have accurate pellet pistols for more precise shooting so I’m good with that. Bottom line is this pistol is FUN to shoot.🙂 Even better with extra mags 😁 but about the only things I am going to try to kill with it are thin skinned water bottles. Close 😉
