This is very good thread. I've had fun playing with the fancy stitches on my machine. The thread covers well and really shines with these stitches. I tried to break it and was unable to. It worked well in my machine with absolutely no problems. It comes with 5 empty bobbins and two filled ones (white and black). Also a color chart and some stabilizer fabric. This is a very good buy and the price is amazing ($.57 per spool) and the color range will have you set up for whatever project you can imagine. As far as the container goes, I really like it. It does take a little fiddling to get each layer seated just right, but the snaps are holding tight and it is handy to be able to have all the thread easily accessible! Highly recommend.

This is a nice set of 40 polyester thread colors for machine embroidery. They came in a useful 2-tiered plastic box. It is a good way to begin machine embroidery without investing a lot of money. I team them with polyester pre-wound bobbins.

I got this as a birthday gift for a family member. I asked her opinion of the product and this is what she said. She’ll use this thread for both machine and hand embroidery. She likes the satiny shine to it. Hand embroidery thread is really expensive so this is her alternative. This was used one sold by Amazon and was a lot cheaper than new one from the actual brand store, so the box came in original packaging without the cardboard box. Unfortunately, the plastic organizer was broken on one side when I got it. I talked to customer service and they were really nice and very happy to help me find a resolution. I am very grateful to them.

I got a new machine and I’m new to embroidery in this manner so I needed a good starting place with thread. I quite like the carrying case. The colors are nice. A few times I hade problems while working. The thread had a tendency to get jammed underneath the project. Occasionally it would snap and I’d need to retread. But more than breaking it would often knot up on the backside of the embroidery project. I was using two layers of stabilizer to prevent it from tearing through. Had to adjust my design paths to have fewer crossovers so the area seemed less “filled” as I removed the under guiding path but the thread seemed to jam up when the machine would go over those paths with filler otherwise.

Saw this on an Amazon deal, even though I have plenty of embroidery threads, this looked like it had some colors that I didn't and it came with a carrier tote, had to get it! I'm so delighted I ordered it since it's some of the best embroidery threads I've ever had! No tension issues, beautiful vibrant colors, great variety. For a quick test run I created a name tag to wear to my sewing club. It stiched out beautifully. The tote is light weight, there are 3 trays that snap together with a lid that has a handle. It also came with spool nets that are twice as long as the spools so I cut them in half for a perfect fit for all the 63 spools, no lose threads! A black and white threaded bobbin, 5 empty bobbins, a 20"x21" sheet of tear away stabilizer, a nice little color chart and some info of their products. I'm an even very happier stitcher now with this set!!!

I have bought a lot of Simthread through the years, and I have never been disappointed. Minimal breakage, wide range of colors and what seems to be a finer gauge. This means it glides through the needle more easily, reduces friction and leaves a cleaner embroidery stitch out. This boxed set has a good range of colors, is reusable, and comes with several extras I wish they would add more selections with different colors.

I really liked the set and all the colors. The box wasn't the greatest but it holds all the colors perfectly and it didn't arrive damaged or anything like some of the other reviewers. Excellent color variety and I really like the quality of the thread.

Conforme au descriptif. Un superbe choix de couleur. Fils testé et nickel. Très pratique le nuancier de correspondance avec les fils madeira. La boîte ce n'est pas du plastique costaud mais ça suffit pour ranger les bobines. Je recommande. Des petits plus appréciables : échantillon de stabilisateur, petit ciseaux, filet à bobine,...

I bought these about 6 months ago and i honestly love them. I have since purchased the 120 spool set and bobbin thread as well. The colours are fantastic, it is so easy to find the thread end and i finally don't have thread breaks every few minutes! The delivery time was super quick and the storage container is perfect to keep them in.
