Great pedal. I love the long footboard. Very smooth as well and budget friendly. Don’t see the need to upgrade for a long time

Just replaced my cheap and very used Sound Percussion double bass pedal. Couldn’t be happier with my decision. I’ve always been a fan of Tama. Their drums are are high quality along with their heavy duty hardware. This Speed Cobra Pedal is no different. Thick and heavy metal that’ll will ensure no movement during use. All actions are very smooth and work very efficiently. It’s got all the adjustments you need, and also has a slightly longer pedal board, that’s good for shoeless drumming or drumming with your biggest pair of boots. I ended up buying the PowerPad double pedal travel case with this and I’m glad I did. This pedal is a beauty and will probably last many many years!

This product is great. I've been meaning to buy this for a while. I got to test it out because one of my best friends also has this exact pedal and I have size 14 feet so playing as this extra long footboard is so much better than playing with my old pedal. I would said Tama is really good with their pedals so far these hold up nice and I love the feel. I would recommend these for anyone regardless of their level of playing. These are excellent for the price and are great for people just starting on playing double bass or even seasoned players. I highly recommend these pedals. I was looking between either buying these or the demonator pedals from pearl and while i love the demonators these pedals are more my style.

If you have a trash pedal and are on a budget looking for something that will last this is the one u should get you cant go wrong with it also u get a free drum key so thats a plus

Easy to assemble, easy to install. It’d be really cool if sellers included a beater pad to apply to the bass drum head, though. I ended up using a spare pad I had on hand, but I’d think most drummers don’t have extras. The pedals themselves are brilliant. I’m still tweaking the springs and angles, etc. but so far I’m VERY pleased with the performance. The responsiveness is lightning quick, and there’s a lot more “feel” (drummers know what I mean), compared with my previous (TAMA Iron Cobra 600) pedal, which surprised me a little since the 600 is supposed to be a level up in their line, however it’s a different model.

I've been pounding these pedals for over a year now and they haven't broken yet. I'd say what they lack in adjustment ability they make up for in price point and smoothness. I upgraded to these from my 10 year old Pearl pedals and man I am happy I did. The pearls had a ton more micro adjustments that were pretty nifty but I probably need to rebuild all the bearings in them to get that as smooth as these newer ones. All in all a great purchase for under 230$.

Bought these for my son who is a very good drummer, no complaints so far and he has been using them for several months now.

Good enough for first double bass buyer. Comparing to 910 it lacks- pedal case, cobra coil, weight adjusting beater, the speedo ring isn’t metal but plastic.
