Neiko 10086A 6 Point Torx Plus Bit Socket Set, 1/4-Inch, 3/8-Inch and 1/2-Inch Drive, TP8 - TP60, 12-Piece

I picked up the Neiko 10086A 6 Point Torx Plus Bit Socket Set specifically because the fasteners on my Ford Bronco are all Torx Plus, and this set did not disappoint. The fit is spot-on, which makes removing and reinstalling bolts much easier and prevents stripping. The bits are solidly built and have held up well through multiple projects without showing signs of wear. Having the right tool for the job makes a huge difference, and this set definitely delivers in terms of quality and durability. If you’re working on a Bronco or any vehicle that uses Torx Plus fasteners, this set is a must-have and totally worth the investment.

I can recommend this kit it's a pretty good deal for the money and honestly l have bits sockets from Capri , Tekton and Craftsman and a few other and other then my older set from Craftsman the all seem to hold up about the same .They all will break that's why I have multiple kits. That's where a warranty is nice and that could be an issue with this kit.This is a pretty extensive torx and E-torx socket kit especially considering the price point .The E-torx socket alone are almost worth the price you pay for the kit ..In fact if you were to peace together just the E- torx sockets from Tekton you would exceed the price of this neiko kit and throw in The fact it comes with torx plus it's a crazy good deal.The sockets and bits are made in Taiwan and seem to be of good quality.The marking are laser etched and not stamped the same as my Craftsman set and I have not had any issues with the laser etching on the Craftsman.I have had issues with Craftsman's acid etching on their e-torx sockets. That's where the extra money for the Tekton might be nice there sockets are stamped and are much easier to read and add in there no hassle warranty it's definitely something to think about. The case the neiko kit comes in is laid out nice and it's fairly compact as far as blow molding cases go. It's definitely not as sturdy as some of the other kits cases .The plastic is of a lower quality but I think it's more than adequate considering the price point and the footprint of the case makes it more convenient to pack around. My case came damaged the corner was smashed in a little bit. It's not terrible doesn't affect anything but it is something you should be aware of especially if you're going to use this as a mobile kit.. I really can't recommend this enough even if you already have a torx bit socket set with a good warranty.Its nice to have a back up set. There's nothing worse than not being able to finish a job because you have to run up to the auto parts store or wait on a warranty replacement.

Tools arrived in a good timely manner. Have used them everyday as a certified mechanic. Have not managed to break a single one yet. Have used on several jobs where my snap-on tools have failed in the past and still holding on strong. Will be buying another set for home in the future. Amazing quality for a reasonable price.

Great set. Solid. Seems like the bits are well made and capable of handling tough jobs.

I bought this set to remove the seats from my Chevy truck. Why GM decided to use E-Torx for the seat mounting bolts is beyond me. Anyhow. This set looked like it covered every size I needed, so I bought it. I go to use it, and find out that the front mounting stud nuts are E20. This set stops at E18. Not a real stopping point, I found that a 12-point 1/2" drive 15mm socket would work instead. Anyhow, this set: The torx bits are the insert-style, so if one breaks, you should be able to replace just the bit, not the entire socket. They have quad-detents, so the sockets lock onto a ratchet no matter how they are inserted. Cheapies usually have a single detent, so you can only install it in one direction. The sockets are very strong, I don't know what the other reviewer was talking about. I put a 3/8" breaker bar on the E10 socket and had to put a cheater pipe on the bar to get the seat mounting bolts free. No slippage and no obvious wear on the socket. I also used the T15 Torx bit on several pieces of interior trim, which were rusted on pretty well. No damage to the socket, and the fasteners came out easily. The case that the set comes in is only so-so... its plastic, and uses bendy-plastic hinges and bendy-plastic latches. These hinges and latches fatigue and break easily. Overall, for the price, its a really nice set of bits/sockets. I wish it went to E20, and I wish the case were a little nicer, but for the cost, it's a really good deal.

If you own a Volkwagen and like working on your own car I highly recommend buying this set of torx bits. This product made very durable and had great quality

Awesome beautiful kit all I need, when I say how mad it is when I get to a project on a car or something and I think mostly everything is going to go smooth with sockets and that's it here come this little baby torx screw and here I go running around trying to find my hand multi tool kit to get off knowing it's way to tight to crack open with a little baby Allen key or whatever this works great has all you need and some the sockets come in great buy used everything awesome awesome awesome buy it !

I've used matcos silver eagle line, snap on, and Cornwell and I hate to say it but these are holding up just as well. I work on various typess of fasteners, some looser some tighter and these have far exceeded my expectations. Usually with a cheap set you'll see the find bend or break off entirely. With this set I've noticed no wear after a year of use. Honestly, I'd buy these before I ever though about throwing my money at a tool truck. These have no business being this good at this price point.
