Cover Pro 1000 hem guide
This is the one to get if you want a hem guide for your Janome CoverPro. The other one that the dealers push are much cheaper but very hard to use and produce inaccurate hems that wander all over the place. This one is expensive and overpriced like all the feet for the CoverPro. But I guess the machine is a specialty item. So if you want the correct hem foot for your CoverPro 1000, this is the one to get.

Not a fan of the plastic
Not crazy about how this works on my machine. There are plastic pieces that feel flimsy. I have a hard time using it on my Janome CoverPro 1000. Easy to install on the machine. I would give it 4 stars if the plastic was not so flimsy.

Positions hem well but the folding is trash
This does line up the hem guide in terms of position. My issue is with the folding style. There is very little room for thicker fabric when pushing the metal through the slot for the top portion. I'm using cotton jersey knit and couldn't get the white plastic part underneath to scoot over the fabric to keep it in line. I watched all videos and they make it look easy... but in reality the plastic is way too tight and I can barely get fabric underneath. I tried the Juki coverstitch machine and they have a really nice hemmer guide the folds onto itself. I hope Janomes type 1 is better..

Unbelievable Great!
Unbelievable Great! I have been reading those reviews and those people who was talking bad about this hem guide, confuses me and I almost didn't bought because of their reviews. I am glad that I decided to pay the price and have my own opinion. I HAVE to tell you, this HEM GUIDE is the BEST! WorthY the price, easy to work and the finishing job is amazing!!!!!!!!!

Hasn't quite worked for me yet
I haven't figured out how to use it yet, despite the printed instructions that came with it on the inside of the packaging, but I found a video on YouTube that I will be rewatching. The problem seems to be in using a slippery fabric. I don't usually use an interfacing or starch when hemming, though I've heard that is the best method to get a good finish, so I will try that.

Very useful!
Thus attachment makes even hemming a cinch. Learning how to set it up is tricky, yes, and it is expensive, especially compared to the Type 1 attachment. But, this one helps you make beautiful, even hems.

Not worth the price
This is certainly not worth the price. Will not work on sleeves or pants. The instructions are terrible and useless.

Not great. Nothing is a better option.
This product is far better than the first version. That being said, it still doesn't work very well. I tried it and it was OK. Then I sewed some sleeves and couldn't use this and it was actually easier to use nothing. I got more accurate results without it. It's SO not worth the price.
