Fallkniven A1 Survival Knife

I was hoping that the knife came with the leather sheath - and it did. Unlike many other raters of the same blade that came in the plastic sheath. A big plus for the supplier. The grip is solid and balance surprisingly even. The first day, to test the sharpness, I actually shaved with it and it was as good as my straight razor - white impressive but not something I plan to continue. Can't say enough positive about this tool!

I ordered this knife with a leather sheath after seeing so many poor reviews of the crappy plastic sheath. I paid a ridiculous amount of extra money just to have a leather sheath, which in my opinion any decent knife should come with already. What arrived in the mail today? A crappy plastic sheath. I am returning it immediately and I won't be buying this knife again just as a matter of principle. I don't trust any company that can't even get the order right. Fallkniven should be embarrassed.

As I said, the last knife you will ever need. Yes, it's expensive, but it's full tang with a thick spine and holds an edge extremely well.

What is there to say when you purchase one of the finest production survival knives in the world. The quantity is immediately apparent once you handle this knife. Very stout and thick, a super sharp edge out of the box, complete full tang, this knife will last a lifetime! The leather sheaf is a perfect compliment and is top notch in quality as well.

It is very sharp. You can easily cut small trees with it. Perfect for hiking since it is pretty light.

I pulled the triger könnte ich sagen, nachdem ich mir endlich einmal ein Outdoor-Messer von Fallkniven zugelegt habe. Die Messer von Fallkniven gelten ja als unter den besten Messern der Welt zu sein. Im Vergleich zum Cold Steel SRK bekommt man doch ein wenig mehr Klingenlänge und Masser vor den Griff und somit auch mehr Spaltkraft beim Holz bearbeiten, seis zB für ein Feuer zum Grillen. Es liegt fantastisch in der Hand, der Griff scheint unverwüstlich zu sein und der konvexe Anschliff der Klinge ist sehr sehr scharf. Ein sehr tolles Messer, wobei ich mir ein höherwertiges DLC-Coating gewünscht hätte, denn das verwendete nützt sich mit der Zeit doch ein wenig ab. Mittlerweile gibt es höherwertige Coatings die länger halten und auch besser aussehen. Aber dennoch ein geniales Messer!
